I have a hard time imagining that. Fake mason partner has to be the worst possible role claim. It’s 100% guaranteed to be called out and get yeet Ed.

It would be easier to claim a different role that someone else is less likely to have.

The conversion part worries me more. I’m not convinced that is what Pippys JOAT means.

To be clear, what I was pointing out what that her JOAT skill wasn't specified. AND on TME's flip I expected it to say unconvertible mason, because that was in our PM. But it wasn't. So I feel confident saying some deets about PRs aren't making it in there, and only makes sense to have unconvertible mechanic if there's a conversion mechanic. To spare AM and my hands won't get into deets on how conversion happens and go to bed rn.

I seem to remember some game where wolves were given like, a ninja ability or something but there was no tracker. Or similar things where there were roles that would make you think a particular mechanic was in the game, but it wasn't. I...can't remember if I played that or modded it lol

Oh, I think you're misunderstanding what cray was saying, she clarified above. It wasn't about pip being the one to have the conversions.

Me blowing up is one way to prevent N1'ing me. Village won't yeet me unless they have rock where brain juices should be.

This just doesn't seem to follow logical principles of good village play in a way that seems to contradict a lot of what I feel is in the AM Guide to Good Village Play (TM). The only thing that makes sense to me is that you did get killed super early the last two games.

And not to be a total dick about your helpfulness to village, but last game I followee your lead on VCA and it seemed like AM inspired thinking is why we didn't catch anyone on the bus. I know if I had pulled my head out of your ass and trusted my instincts I would have gone after Please and it might have been different.

I mean, if we want to talk about following my VCA, I died with my vote on April. Who not only was a wolf you cleared, but also a busser. Just saying.

It's fine to have your own individual thoughts on who should die after I die, but don't say you were blindly "following my VCA" when they only people I yeeted were MsP and April.

Still haven’t had the chance to deep dive but I’m going to be looking into TE’s post to see if something gave her up as a PR. Has anyone found anything yet? I voted for her to try and bring her into the game and then I got busy and missed most of the posts that didn’t directly tag me from approximately page 7-16. I’ll catch up after some sleep.

I think I’m late to the party but I 100% agree. Cray is either the balls-iest wolf in the world and wanting to die or Shes not lying. I really do think she is the other Mason considering if she was a wolf she’d be giving herself up in a cycle as the real Mason revealed themselves. If on some off chance she is lying the real Mason is not being very smart by hiding it.

So I am confused on something because it didn’t click with me and I originally read the pippy write us as “serial killer goat” not joat until I read this post. I know what a joat is but how does that fit with serial killer? my tired brain is confused.

Not sure if I should ask Shorty to say what her night results actually saw me do. I didn't really think about being a mason her getting a result that said anything besides I was talking to someone.

Maybe it's best not to say how the results are reported. I usually rely on Midwife to say the best way to do reveals or report night results. I figured in this case she would have told me personally gig is up give village what you know.

As for shorty, I won't say you should say what you saw, but it definitely wasn't murder. I'm guessing it said I visited someone or was seen talking to someone.

I believe Cray. I do not blame Shorty for questioning someone this hard after another person just lied about a role claim, but I think her logical judgement is getting a bit clouded. I have no idea what mod message shorty received but if it was just that Cray had some kind of interaction with Enigma, I don't think it's really a lie for Cray to say she didn't do anything last night. Cray has not struck me as anything other than village!Cray, and if something is striking anyone as kind of off about her, it would make sense that she's acting that way because of her supposed mason role - she's not vanilla villager and she has a little more info than the rest of us and presumably is being a tad bit careful about what she says. Her defensiveness is quite understandable in my opinion.

I've seen more experienced players do much worse. This is very minor in comparison especially given it's only your third game.

If it makes you feel any better I'm afraid what she'll say to me, and I should actually know how to play better.

I'm just hoping she agrees with me revealing what I know was the way to go. I fear she'll say she always considers conversion at endgame after going through the whole POE anyway, so all my reveal did was plant conversion paranoia D2 and distraction, and that if I was smarter none of this would happen.

Buck up, PRs are one game element that is quite the learning curve. I hate having one lol.

As dubz already said, you were already outted by your reactions to shorty's claim so whether you claimed something or not at that point had little impact of harming village there on out. I think only swearing you were vanilla would have actively harmed village.

First, I was surprised that there was only 1 kill N1. My previous games were basics(and ish) and in those games, both N1 had multiple kills. So I was surprised to see that in a non-basics game, there was only 1 kill.

Second, I was surprised at the choice of the kill. If I was a wolf, Enigma wouldn’t have been my top choice for a kill. Granted, maybe I’m wrong. I can come up with some reasons why Enigma would be a top choice, but in the moment it surprised me.

So, at seeing there was only one kill, and that it was Enigma, my first thought was that maybe 3p did it, or some sort of shenanigans played out, because it was an unexpected outcome.

I asked Cray why she assumed it was wolves, hoping she might shed some light on what she thought the wolves thought process was in killing Enigma.

But no, I have no specific reason to suspect or assume that a 3p actually exists, I was just surprised at the N1 outcome, and trying to stay open to any and all possibilities and explanations.

Think of serial killer as the affiliation (like village, wolf, chaos, etc.) and joat as the ability.

Lainey - I know some people are reading Lainey as wolfy, but she's playing in a very similar style to how she did last game with the combination of fluff posting and then kind of echo-y reads on people, combined with posts that just say things like "This is sketchy!". I misread Lainey as wolfy last game for this style and she flipped village, and the similarities between last game and this game are making me lean village on her.

That being said, my theory of why the Wolves killed Enigma is this:

There were a number of people on the April vote yesterday. I think April is right; the wolves are trying to capitalize on salt from previous games to get her yeeted. I think the voting block on April consisted of two kinds of voters. Village who nit picked small things to make a case against her, and pushed it, and wolves joining the bandwagon. And Enigma.

Enigma came on pretty late, was pretty uncertain about where she was going to vote and kind of wishy washed her way on to April at the end.

If you’re a wolf, you’re not killing yourself, and you’re not killing villagers who are actively pushing to yeet another villager. Enigma though?

With an Enigma kill, you can turn around and say “Enigma voted April and now she’s dead!” and keep the April train choo-chooing along to yeetsville.

Just wanted to say that this game seems to be role heavy, so we can't know how many kills might have been attempted and stopped

Well, I was already on her yesterday

In any case reasoning is that she said I pinged her for "being excited" at a point in the game where I had made like 5 posts (she said she was through page 4 at that point), and I have a hard time seeing what in those posts was "too excited", except that pippy had already said something similar about me, and maybe sunshine was just echoing that read. Also shaded me for joke posts made on page 2 of the thread, which is ridiculous. And then went on to imply I had done nothing but make joking/irrelevant posts, which is false.

I have yet to mention enigma or April today so not sure why you wrote a dissertation and then wrapped it up by concluding I’m your number 1 suspect.

Day 1 of the game I had to travel across my state early morning, do my shift, and then move into new housing and meet my roommates (1 of which is an M3 so I didn’t know, the other is an M4 I know but he came home with a random girl and there was a bunch of chaos)
