GGoats!! - An aMAAAAAHzing WW thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Serious question. I love goats. I'm from the human medicine side... but can you become a veterinarian that only cares for goats?
You can be! I'm friends with a couple small ruminant specialists*. They also typically work with sheep.

*Not technically board certified -- the US doesn't have a board certification for small ruminant practitioners. I believe it exists in Europe though.

SO what are the rules here????
So the basis of WW is that there's two factions against each other. The informed minority (wolves) versus the uninformed majority (villagers). The goal of the wolves is to remove villagers until they are equal in numbers (parity). The goal of villagers is to remove all wolves. The villagers have to look for thread clues to identify the wolves before it's too late. And the wolves have to trick the villagers long enough until parity is hit without being discovered themselves.

Lawpy tagged you in a more in-depth explanation in the other thread, but this is the quick and dirty version.

The game is a lot of fun.
AM have a really good introduction.
it comes down to
Village = find the dirty dirty lying wolves
Wolves = lie lie lie
And this group is a great group to be introduced to werewolf by.
Since starting here I’ve played in person at a gaming convention and kicked ass.
I’m glad I’m here and glad of the friends I’ve made from happening upon this land <3

Awww we love you too samac :biglove:

Wait what?
I posted about it in the discord.
I played twice in person at this gaming convention. They had these parties on Friday/Saturday night and you could play werewolf or trivia. Obviously I picked werewolves both nights. As village one them both. Night one had it down to late in the game and apparently shouting “oh my god just ****ing kill me already so then you all can vote her” when you get accused for the 3rd time vs the other person who was a vampire (all wolves were eliminated, it was the 3P element) is very village and game winning worthy.

the next game I was like “this shifty eyed dude and that guy over there look like wolves”. I died the next night, I was right and they ended up giving me a lanyard for next year for best reads lol.

When was this!?

Remember when @BobLoblaw78 stumbled across this thread and it got him interested in WW?
Just highlighting a few of my favorite parts of that post.

What I found was something that I can not begin to describe. There were words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs that I have no idea what was being conveyed. I was entranced but still don't have a clue what I was looking at after sifting through countless posts. I'm not sure how I felt about it but since everyone seemed happy I think I was too (Folie a deux?). I am scared to go back but may with a translator (I'm looking at you, Lawpy).

I'm not sure this should exist in the same forum that we are on. Maybe not the same planet. I am dubbing their thread the "K Hole"
@BobLoblaw78 play the HZD game, pls? 🥺
@frosted2 you too!

Sure. Every game, I start off by voting someone so I can watch everyone else's interactions and their responses.
...here I thought I'd come to some grand conclusion of my own accord, explaining how AM chooses her first vote every game, and it turns out she told us herself ages ago

Yes I'm rereading games at 1am, don't @ me

From the same player who said "I don't even want this" at the end of her most recent wolf win? Nah. She lies more when she's village :laugh:

I was hoping you tagged the person who actually has the username Dubz so that if they ever do log back on, they'll have the PM I accidentally started with them called "Let's Yeet Mel" and a tag in an old WW game called GGoats
I don't know if that account exists anymore, it's not showing up when I try to tag it.

I'm able to see it when I go back to the PM I accidentally started, but the person never posted anything after they joined so maybe that's why

Maybe it's not letting me tag them because the forum knows I'm supposed to be putting drugs on cells right now, not dicking around :thinking:
