I wasn't interpreting Mayo's posts as jokey, which pinged me because usually it's pretty obvious he's joking when he is. So my impression of that is either he wasn't joking but then got called out and decided to say he was joking to cover his butt, or he was really joking but wasn't doing it well. The village!Mayo I'm familiar with is quite obviously jokey, and the wolfy!Mayo I experienced in the noob game was not.
