Not that I think it will change anything, but my role has been sort of hinted at earlier in the thread and since no one has acted on it until now, I'd hope that would help indicate to you that I'm a villager. I am indeed a lawyer but am not an evil one -- I'm Brad Morris. If able to prepare the night before, I have a 50% chance of defending someone. Haven't had much of a reason to use my ability since the first several days we targeted Ashgirl and I was suspicious enough based on everything that I didn't want to aid in keeping her around. Then last night I was drunk (game and IRL), so no preparation for me.

And for a pathetic attempt at self preservation lynch honey

That actually makes me more suspicious of orca. I could very easily see Brad being a wolfy role. Then again, STL game, so :shrug:.

Played by Joe Manganiello, Brad is a friend of Marshall from law school. Brad and Marshall begin to hang out after they both discover they are single, following breakups with their respective girlfriends, Kara and Lily. The bromance between Brad and Marshall becomes increasingly awkward after they go to brunch and a musical together. Eventually, Brad gets back together with his girlfriend. He attends Marshall's bachelor party and wedding and gets punched in the face by Barney when he tries to kiss Robin, although he bears no hard feelings. He appears in "The Stamp Tramp", claiming to be in need of help but later revealing that he is the opposition lawyer in a big court case, putting Marshall's job at risk. The trial takes place in "Twelve Horny Women" and Gruber Pharmaceuticals are found guilty but only have to pay $25,000; this leads to Marshall becoming a judge. His image appears in a flash forward in "Rally" when a news report shows him leading in exit polls over Marshall for New York State Supreme Court Judge in 2020.

I think this part mostly? But then we really have no idea what wolves look like in this game.
He appears in "The Stamp Tramp", claiming to be in need of help but later revealing that he is the opposition lawyer in a big court case, putting Marshall's job at risk.

He really screws Marshall over near the end of the show (what WZ mentioned). He pretty much uses his charm to win over the jury in court in an attempt to make Marshall lose his giant court case. Just kinda a sleazy guy. He starts off pretty awesome near the beginning of the show and then turns into a bit of a baddie.
 
Yeah, he starts off really funny in their bromance. But the end would make him wolfy, ruining a friendship for personal gain.

I've been around and posting each day - just not openly talking tons of strategy since I've been a little preoccupied studying for my last final tomorrow.

Anyways, I think a lynch of any lawyer is a good idea at this point, what with all of the write up clues. ******lynch orca******

Wish there was a way to prove that this wasn't me...but I can't. I do think there are other lawyers besides just me out there.

I won't deny that these actions may me seem a bit wolf. But after this court case I end up working for Marshall's firm and turn things around a bit. But in all honestly, if I had abs like him, I'd probably try to charm a bit too. I mean, have you seen Alcide in True Blood? (this part isn't actually serious to my defense on not lynching me)
 
On a side note, I have most night actions in currently, and would love it if I could close it tonight. I completely understand waiting for the write up (which I am feverishly typing away at night now), but if those of you who haven't submitted actions can get them in, we can get a quick night going!
 
It was Marshall’s moment to shine, he would go toe to toe with Brad one more time, this time not over a silly environmental case, but to determine whether Brad lives or dies.

“Bro beans, you are going down. And once I win, I am going to buy myself a brand new lamboooo. Oh and by the way, I already know what your strategy is for your case. The security at your firm is really lax.”

Marshall smiled to himself, knowing that he had a “secret weapon” (you will understand why this is funny later).

Marshall begins with his opening argument. “I will prove that Brad is in fact a member of the wolves, conspired in the murders of multiple people, and wantonly and knowingly led to the suicides and lynching of multiple villagers.

Brad comes up before the bench next. “How’s this for a fact. New York City is home to a buttload of people. If these villagers are so upset with how corrupt the City has gotten, why don’t they just, I don’t know, tag along with other families driving elsewhere, and go to another city?” He drops the pen in his hand behind him. “Oops, I dropped my pen.” He turns around to pick it up, and bends over for an extended period of time, picking up the pen. All of the women, and yes, the entire jury was somehow stacked with women, watched his hind end as he was picking up the pen, admiring the beauty of it. He rose back up. “Anyway, I am completely innocent, and will prove that to you lovely, beautiful jury members.”

Brad goes back to his seat, but the ladies still had their eyes on him.

“Councillor, you may call your first witness.”

“I call myself, braski.”

He walks over to the jury. “Sorry if I seem down ladies of the jury. My girlfriend Cara broke up with me last night. Said I listened too much, whatever that means. Anyway, I wasn’t directly involved in any of these murders, and am clearly NOT a wolf. In fact, I have a video of me from last night.

The video plays, and shows Brad, getting completely plastered last night, and ending up with no shirt on. The jury starts fanning themselves, taking off wedding rings, pulling at the neck of their turtlenecks, and gazed hungrily at the video.

“As you can see, I am not a wolf, I am just a man that enjoys a simple life. Thank you, all of you ladies, for your time here to deliberate over me. I know that each of you wonderful ladies will look deep into your hearts to find the truth.” He subtly blew a kiss in their direction and returned to the bench beside the judge.

“You make a very.... well you make an argument anyway Brad. But, can you argue with DNA? In my hand, I have the knife that was used to stab Daphne. Can you guess whose fingerprints I found on these?”

“No actually, I couldn’t really fathom who could do that to such a person!”

“I found YOUR fingerprints on them Brad. (get it, secret weapon? It would be much funnier to anyone who actually watched the episode. Moving on). The jury all gasps out, the flamboyant judge even looks upset by this news.

From here, Marshall laid piles and piles of circumstantial evidence, motives, hard evidence etc. Even as love with Brad as the jury was, they were forced to convict Brad of being a wolf, with the sentence of death.

“Actually, I want to question him first. Barney steps up, ready to use certain “tools” upon him, in order to figure out what he needs to know. But someone in the courtroom doesn’t want him revealing anymore then he already has. A gun goes off, everyone screams and starts running in a thousand different directions. When the dust settled, Brad had a bullet through his skull, and Barney was standing over him, clearly not happy.


Dead is Orca, Brad, A WOLF, who could either choose one person to protect from lynch 100%, or could choose to protect the entire wolf group, allowing for a 50/50 chance that a wolf with the most votes actually get lynched. Luckily for the villagers, he, being blocked tonight, left the group unprotected today.

There are 19 players remaining in the game. The Lusty Leopard’s pm is now active! Barney’s apartment pm shall end after this night cycle. It is night 8. Night deadline is asap (missing 3 pms in total)

This is the story of the night that no one died.

The night started with 1 person offering another person a very large sum of money to join their cause, which they graciously accept. This person offering the money does not seem to have evil intentions, so who knows who this person is or what cause he/she would be recruiting the person for.

An unemployed female was walking along the street, when a man walked up to her to try and date her. It was a bit creepy for many a reason, but she agreed to go on the date anyway. During that date, he informed her that she was probably going to be fired later that evening. She responded that she was not employed, and having reached the max level of creepiness, decided to walk out on her date. As she walked out on the street, another man approached her, telling her that she was fired from her job. For someone who is used to screaming at others, he was not prepared for what came next. “I don’t know what IDIOTIC place you came from, but I don’t have a flipping job. Are you too stupid to be able to realize that? Or are you just too dense? And you had to BUTTER me up for it by sending that absolute dingus of a human being in there to date me. It was creepy enough that he is as old as my father, but you needed another complete and total stranger to tell me that I am fired before you did. Literally, go into a ditch and die you worthless human being. No, you don’t deserve a ditch, if you could just dissipate into thin air, you would make the world a better place.”

The man just stood there, his mouth agape as she rams her shoulder into him when walking by, knocking him onto the ground. The man thought to himself, “I didn’t send someone to tell her she was fired?” and walked off.

The night continued onward with several people attempting to tear down the door of one person. No one seemed to be able to get past the door, even those with malicious intentions.

As usual, Ranjit did some driving last night, and found himself both at Lily and Marshall’s house on Long Island and then arriving at the original apartment.

Robin and Barney are now even closer to dating. Rumor is that they met at an undisclosed location last night for a hot and sexy date 😉.

Oh and a woman who has been trying to find certain people found a significant amount of success last night, much more than what would normally be considered to be possible in one given night. As great a victory as she held this to be, she sensed a growing evil presence in the town. Maybe it has something to do with Orca’s death?

There are still 19 players remaining in the game. The Lusty Leopard’s pm will end this evening. Lily and Marshall’s house on Long Island’s can pm for 1 cycle. Barney has sold his apartment and decided to move in with Robin at the original apartment. The original apartment pm is active. It is Day 9. Lynch deadline is set for 8 pm!

Only two votes, but I'm going to address this now since you guys were voicing suspicions of me earlier - I'm a villager. The only proof I can offer is that one of my abilities allows me to avoid all night actions done on me, and I used it last night and was told that many people visited me last night, including 1 that was very intent on killing me. It mentions it in the writeup too, so if anyone is willing to verify they tried an action on me and failed it should verify my story.

Also, whoever was saying WZ was suspicious yesterday - I'd be surprised if she's a wolf. I don't have any solid info that she's a villager, but based on write ups I'm not suspicious of her.

Maybe I'm entirely off base here, but wouldn't have using your ability to avoid actions last night been one of the worst times to use it? I dunno. I figure that if suspicions are being expressed, you'd want to be cleared through some sort of investigation. It apparently does say someone had malicious intentions and a door was closed though.
 
Did anyone get anything worthwhile to pursue? Lynching Cyndia on general principles is good policy, but maybe not the most efficient use of the lynch?

I figured it wouldn't matter, because wasn't Jilary the villager seer? She actually tried to visit me the night she died (it mentioned it in that writeup as well), but I was hiding out in my room that night too.

Anyways, one of my actions is pointless at the moment (forming a pm group for a night), and the other one could be detrimental to villagers if not used appropriately, so I've been refraining from using it and have just been hiding out every night in hopes of the wolves wasting a kill. I did actually use that ability on ashgirl back on that night after she was first revealed to be non villager, but it failed, and then I used it once on one of my groupmates, ksmi, the following night because STL had sent me back ashgirls role title in my results PM, and I was hoping it was a role title seering of sorts - but STL didn't send me ksmi's title and the ability failed again, so I gave up trying that one.

I got information that Honeytoki was blocked last night. There was no kill, but the writeup seems like it's more because Cyndia was hiding than because of something else. It still might be something to keep in mind, though.

Also, I feel like it might be worthwhile to go after Devyn today.
 
Quick question for you guys...

I was the creepy date the girl in the write-up had. I originally told my date that I wouldn't lead a lynch against her, but I'm reconsidering now.

When I pressured her for information about her role, she told me she was a little girl with an essentially vanilla role. I have to admit that, if any role received few abilities, I'd believe it's the girl. However, I remembered this morning that at least one write-up have had a little girl stab someone.

Lily gasps out, “I… I…. neeed you…” Lily coughs up blood. “to try…. And find Marshall…. He will know……” She coughs up more blood, making what she said along with it inaudible. “to do…. Tell him… It’s Jean….” She never finished her sentence.

This is from Thursday Night results, on page 12.

From Wiki searching, the only little girls I can identify from the show are Lucy Zilman and the Daughter. The Daughter might not be a role since this seems to be set with the characters in Ted's story. I haven't watched the show, so I'll ask you - what are the chances that Lucy, or my date, is a wolf?
