I used to stress about WW so hard and it made it not fun at all. Now my problem is that I'm too uninvested. I really need to care more.

Lol. Are you saying you have larger priorities??

I used to feel sick with how stressed I was. Wolfing and seering would bring it out the most. I'd be a nervous wreck getting lynch votes or reading night results.

So requesting small roles used to help a bit. Then I felt it was unfair to ask so I didn't play.

Now it's apparently not a big deal. Yay!

It's not that I have more important things to do- I'm just as much of a slacker as ever. But I used to get stressed, plot for hours, carefully analyze the threads, and get pissed when things went south. I think I just eventually had enough games go bad that I realized I couldn't get emotionally invested in WW anymore, because even though investment makes me a better player, it's also not great for me to emotionally stack on top of the other stress I've got in my life.
 
I'm not going to change my vote or anything, but I do just want to say that it bothers me that we're doing what Ashgirl wants. Even if Caia turns out to be a wolf.
 
Barney decided to take a different approach in order to lynch Caia. As you know, "Artillery Arthur" is a very powerful and very rich man, who it would be very difficult for the angry mob to get near to. So, Barney instead decided to approach his ex-wife, promising huge dividends for her in exchange for him borrow tugboat.

Once Barney had secured tugboat, he called Arthur. He started talking in a much deeper voice, trying to hide his identity. "ARTHUR, I have tugboat. If you ever want to see him again, you will come to 86th and 2nd later tonight. Alone."

"Barney, I know its you, I can tell by your voice. If you harm tugboat, I SWEAR TO GOD I will murder you with bare hands!" He hung up the phone.

The whole crowd waited for Arthur to show up, which he did. It didn't take long for him to get knifed to death by the new crowd. Oh and look, Barney just gained a new puppy of his own!

Dead is Caia, "Artillery Arthur" Hobbs, who could prevent one person from voting each day cycle, but could not use this ability on anyone two nights in a row without them becoming immune. Additionally, demoralized people could not out wolves for that night, however, she never demoralized anyone appropriately for that to occur.

In other news, Barney and James has a wingman off today. They were trying to wingman each other as much as possible to see what crazy results could happen by doing so. Wonder what ended up happening?

It is night 11. Night deadline is set for asap. There are 13 people remaining in the game. The original apartment and Ted's house on Long Island are active and will lose the ability to pm after this night cycle.

As an aside, I am pretty sure I am only missing 2-3 night actions, so if those people want to get them in, we can get this show on the road.

I am at ES with one of my pups...

I am still suspicious of quiet ones like honey and swin.....but honestly ...at this point except for one person who i had been chatting with, I have little reason to trust anyone. Ash got us the last wolf, and I am certainly not trusting her. You helped with WL but no one ever answered my questions about why there was no investigation of either of them.....could have saved devYn. I am just accepting that you were investigated after the ash accusation, but who knows. People trust beyond belief.

I'm sorry I'm super distracted. My IS promised letters this week so I'm so distracted / anxious. Someone could pm me admitting to being a wolf and it would take me a few hours to process that information.

So I'm also suspicious of honey? Has she posted at all recently?
 
No, honey's been quiet. However, she's the little girl I "dated", as confirmed by the write-up.

EDIT - confirmed to me. I dated her that night, she told me she was a young girl, and STL's write-up included that.

Quick question - what are the chances that there isn't an alignment seer? I feel like we would have seen some sign of them (at least a "someone told me...") by now.

I'm not asking anyone to step forward. I'm just wondering if this game doesn't have one.

Interesting night indeed. I am going to be quick with it since I am already late getting it on the thread.

So we begin with Stella, who had in a random and totally not anticipated manner, became engaged to the captain. Unfortunately, she decided to leave the captain for Tony once again (de ja vu?), but this time, it resulted in the death of The Captain.

Dead is, Swin, The Captain, who could kill once, had the ability to convert, and could intimidate one person each night (silence for 1 full cycle, plus no voting. Could only be used once per player, until all players had been gone through).

From here, we notice a devastating attack on the mother. It was almost successful. Except she had become strong to outward attacks due to the chronic condition she is facing. Physically she is getting weaker. Doctors have her prognosis poor, with an estimated lifespan of 1-2 days.

It is day 12. Night deadline is set for asap. There are 12 people remaining in the game. NO GROUP PMS ARE ACTIVE! (womp womp). Lynch deadline is 8 pm or 9 votes, which ever comes first.

The first headline of today’s newspaper states, “Barney leads villagers to another wolf”
 
So, I'm the mother, and the alignment seer. I become vulnerable to death tonight. LIS was determined to be a convert, but he was also blocked last night, so whoever did the kill was not him. But he is also not a villager. Make of that what you will. Given that we've got no protectors, I'll just be chilling and waiting for the wolves to kill me now.

Actually it wasn't- I was informed that if I used the power from your altar to seer two people instead of one, it would accelerate my cancer as well.

No, that was my altar use. I put in last night to leave swin at the altar. STL then informed me that swin is dead. So, yes, that was me using my altar ability last night. It even says so in the write up.


The thing I said about LIS was because I was going to ask on thread today for someone to seer him because I've been feeling suspicious but didn't want to lynch him until I could get him seered to be sure.

Ooooh, I thought your altar was what gave me the power to seer twice last night. Someone boosted my powers and I was told I could seer twice, but it would accelerate my cancer and make me immediately vulnerable. Turned out to be a good idea not to do so, as the wolves tried to kill me off and I'd have died with all that info and no one to tell.

How would I be able to claim boosting your ability when I had no idea about it and it wasn't mentioned? :laugh:

Aaaah, I totally just misunderstood. I thought you were saying my seering him was from your altar, not that the kill was.

Lynch LIS.
 
In any case, LIS, though not a villager, is certainly not the last wolf/character capable of killing, since he was blocked last night.

Any ideas of who we should be suspicious of?
