So if devyn was a villager you are saying that It would be punishing inactive players by giving them false results or having them use their powers on someone that is useless? Now golly, who would work such a mechanic into their game?

Mechanically, having her as a true villager is good game design. Having her as a true wolf is bad game design. I'm betting she's a villager because it would be stupid if she wasn't, and you aren't stupid.

You misread. He said it wouldn't make sense if she were a wolf. It makes a lot of sense if she's a villager.

Next time I mod, someone is going to have the "bench player" role.... and anytime someone doesn't turn in a move for the night, the "bench player" automatically gets to use the ability for the evening.
 
Everyone surrounds Devyn who immediately steps up with a defense. “Guys I am not a wolf. If I am guilty of anything, it’s on missing out on a good time. As the blitz, I can’t really do anything important, and only lame people can truly interact with me effectively. I am not the droid you are looking for.”

As Devyn waits for a response from his “accuser,” the gang starts getting more and more ancy. “Where is the other accused Willow?” “Who is the source of the information?” “Why is an older women still taking classes?”

So many unanswered questions. And they remain unanswered for yet another day cycle, as Willow never got the chance to check in before the mob decided it best to execute The Blitz. The means of killing this time was to have everyone interact with the blitz, of course by beating the ish out of him. There wasn’t much life to him when the last person decided to put him out of his misery by shooting him in the head.

Dead is Devyn, The Blitz, who would seer as a wolf, and would be the default for people’s night actions who were inactive. Devyn could not be killed if the wolves attempted to kill her. Instead, wolves would have needed to purposefully NOT sent in a kill action on a given night, and that would have enabled them to auto kill Devyn that night.

The day still isn’t over. The mother and Ted have been texting all day, and have decided on having their first date tonight. Wish the two lovebirds the best of luck on their night out on the town!


It is night 10. Lynch deadline is set for ASAP (I have to be at a conference in Richmond tomorrow morning at 8 am, so I would LOVE it if I could close tonight...) There are 16 people remaining in the game. The original apartment is the only pm left active for tonight.

Yesterday all you said was "something's not right" and didn't elaborate when I asked what. So no, I didn't clear up anything yesterday. And today was busy and things came up, sorry.

Although I'm surprised BI didn't clear some things up, since I was pretty open with her over PM. I told her that my roll is Judy Erikson... I have to pretend to be nice on the thread (I can't directly accuse someone of being a wolf, I can vote but can't say I think someone is a wolf), and then my nasty side shows itself when I'm PMing - I send an insulting message every night. It's anonymous, but I made it pretty clear to some people who I was so it would be a bit less anonymous and more of a regular PM ability. I can't get return PMs, but I decided to use the one-way PM ability to set up a code with someone who I thought might have access to info, and offered to help them get info on the thread if they found a wolf but didn't want their roll ability outed on the thread.

It was asked to be cleared up via PMs and never was. Then I lost that PM communication today. So that is why I just now asked on the thread, because all the questions were to be asked to you via PM.

If I have the night right, I sent an insult to honey, and a nice message to Marshall. Once I knew who Marshall was, I gained an additional PM every 3rd night (to marshall only). My list is not updated, but I'm assuming that's the right night since that's the only time I've done two actions.

Can we PM freely within our group tonight, or are there any restrictions? I'm not sure if this is the same as the PMing that BI and I were allowed to do the other day.
 
The night begins with a trip onto a boat. You see, the captain was gracious enough to invite Judy Erickson onto his boat last night (rumor is that he was trying to sleep with her, now that he and Zoey have broken up). However, he did not invite the person that was following her, Ranjit, and did not invite the person following Ranjit neither.

Anyway, they travel out to sea, very far out in fact. After around 3 hours of traveling, and 3 hours of The Captain shamelessly flirting, he turns to Judy, looking her straight in the eye.

“Do you know the true reason why I asked you here tonight Judy? It’s actually quite exciting to be completely honest. You see, I know your true identity as a wolf, even if the rest of these people can’t see it. You and I both know I can’t continue to allow you to live. Honestly, it’s nothing against you. Also, you’re a bit too old for me, so it would never have worked out anyway.”

With that, he takes out a harpoon gun aims it right at her chest. Before he could shoot, Willow turns around, stares right at an area of creates and screams out “*****!” With that, the captain shoots, leaving Willow utterly and completely dead.

Dead is Willowleaf, Judy Erickson, WOLF, who could send insulting anonymous messages to people in the game each night. She had the added ability of deactivating Marshall every third night, once the wolves had discovered who Marshall truly is.

By shouting that out in that direction, it drew the Captain’s attention towards that area. Had someone else gained access to his boat and witnessed the murder? They can’t survive to tell the tale….

He goes searching for the mystery person, and eventually finds them, with a knife already stuck in his back. “Who could have killed her?” he mutters aloud. “SHOW YOURSELF!” He yells out to the other mystery person on the boat.

However, she was no longer there. Seconds later, the captain could hear the revving of a motor, and the mystery person’s boat was seen going off into the distance.

Dead is Wildzoo, Ranjit, who could follow any person in the game during the night (normally by driving them from place to place, with the exception of last night), could redirect people’s actions 3 times throughout the game, and could allow for pming (by driving people within the group to one another) in the areas that he serviced the night before. With Ranjit dead, who knows if group pming may continue past this upcoming cycle…

In other news, The Mother and Ted are officially going out! Who knows how this may impact the game?!?! (I mean it is called How I met your mother…. 😛)

There was one other major thing that happened last night. Someone decided to fire someone that was a medical doctor last night, which would have normally made this person depressed enough to off herself, except as a medical doctor, the doctor prescribed anti-depressants which made the said person happy enough to not off themself (because you know that’s totally how anti-depressants work, totally take effect within a day with no acclimating dose nor accumulation of serotonin needed).
It is day 11. Lynch deadline is set for 8 pm. There are 14 people remaining in the game. The original apartment and Ted's house on Long Island are active and will lose the ability to pm after this night cycle.

This brings up something I found out last night.

What do you guys think of the character Arthur Hobbs, Marshal ' s boss, who loved screaming and demoralizing people? Would anyone consider that wolfy? I myself do, but I wanted to see what everyone thought before I revealed who it was.

I could go with that. devyn said she was demoralized yesterday and couldn't vote. Do you think it was to weaken her case?
 
Seems wolfy to me. If there's nothing concrete I'm more than happy voting for that person!
