LeonbergerLover said that they might not have their interview dates for Jan/Feb scheduled yet based on info she's gotten, so possibly that's why you and others haven't heard yet (because they tell you a date when they email you).

Hopefully that means that I have one and they just don't know what day yet 😀

I got it just before 4 pm EST. I DID interview at the end of November, so I'm not sure if they only sent that email out to people who've already interviewed, since some people probably have called asking about it since others from the early dates have been accepted already.

I got it too! I interviewed beginning of november

Well basically all it said was fall/late summer (if they weren't on your VMCAS) transcripts are due Jan 31, the bit that I pasted above, and that they're closed Dec 22-Jan 3

I just think it's strange that they've already accepted people but haven't reviewed all the applications and most of us won't hear anything until March. I just want to know now! :poke:

I just wish I knew exact days for when I was going to hear things, the waiting game is torture. At least if I knew when I was going to hear from schools, I wouldn't be on my email every 6 minutes like a crazy person

I'm pretty sure they have reviewed all the applications at least once as I turned mine in at 11:58PM on September 15th (pretty sure I was the last one lol) and I interviewed on November 22nd. However, I do agree that their interview offers and acceptance process seems to be very confusing.

I submitted mine pretty late too and I was interviewed on the 22nd as well. It just makes me crazy that some people already got calls from their interview day to get accepted! I wanna know too! lol

I interviewed the 21st (reschedule from 11/9) and submitted I think 9/8ish. If I hadn't had an exam the day of my original offer I might already know :scared: (it seems like the first 2-3 dates are when people who've heard were interviewed)

No, they haven't reviewed all of the applications yet. I don't think they are going in order by when they received them. It seems silly but maybe they are going alphabetically? That's the only theory I have lol.
 
I sent my app in August 15 and my last name starts with C sooooo i think alphabetically is unlikely since I haven't heard anything
 
Not alphabetical- my last name starts with W. I also submitted kinda late- VMCAS verified September 12 but didn't add LMU until September 13. I suspect every application has been reviewed at least minimally at this point.

I also submitted mine that day and haven't heard anything in regards to an interview, and my last name is in the middle of the alphabet
 
My guess is they've reviewed all the applications already at least a little. They invited the ones they really liked to interviews first and then put others they were still thinking about in another pile to be reviewed later. Which is where I'm guessing we are all standing right now. I submitted August 16th and my last name starts with an O, so I don't think their going in alphabetical order either.

Definitely not alphabetical. I'm an S and there were a bunch of other letters at my interview, in fact we were split into interview groups based on our last names.
 
Penn's process is similar. They do interviews every week and usually people find out their results fairly soon after their interview. Every process is stressful though, wouldn't say it's any better or worse than any others! And I wouldn't bother trying to determine what method they use to determine the order for interviews - you'll just drive yourself crazy 😛

I don't think that's necessarily true, or at least I don't want to discredit myself before I even get the interview. I'd rather think that they just haven't set the interview dates for January and February yet like one of the other posts said 🙂
 
Not sure how exactly things work at LMU but I imagine it's similar to Penn - seemed just as many people got acceptances from the later interviews as from the earlier ones, so don't discredit yourselves! They wouldn't do it this way if they didn't think it gave them the best chance of putting together a great class, and it wouldn't make sense for them to spread out interviews like this if all of their top candidates were in the first batch.

Opened my email before studentdoctor.net.......almost had a heart attack, the wait continues 🙄. But I do appreciate the thoughtfulness haha
 
Its nice that they send out emails every once in a while to let us know that we haven't been forgotten. I wish more schools did that. And the picture of the clinic is absolutely gorgeous. I would go there just to see a sunset like that every day

In the email they said the office was closed for the holiday span and that they look forward to working with us in the new year, does that mean we won't be hearing about interview until January?
 
Also I just saw something about summer classes, do we have to send in our Fall transcripts as well?

Yes, its any classes you are currently taking or took over the summer that weren't on your VMCA application
 
Yeah, once they close for the holidays you won't hear from them until they are back in the office in January! I would not worry too much though, they are doing interviews until sometime early February! I did my interview on 11/9 and have yet to hear anything back. 🙁 A bit discouraged at this point but I guess we will see.

don't be discouraged yet! I interviewed in November too and I haven't heard anything either

They only called (so I'm continuously checking my call history to make sure I didn't dream it, haha). He said they'd get an email out with more info but I'm guessing that'll come closer to when other decisions are made.

Update 12/18: got my acceptance packet in the mail! (including a nice banner I might just stick where I see it every time I wake up)

congrats to everyone that is getting invitations!! My advice from mine, is not to worry at all! The interviews were brief and everyone was really nice. The people I met with were very conversational. Definitely wear comfortable shoes, you'll be doing a lot of walking. Good luck!
