This one might go a little slow 😳 with Packen 8 hrs difference from me haha. Hopefully not too slow to upset everyone. But if that helps you decide SOV 😀. Sat is the big day that I'll be the busiest, hopefully the rest I should have enough time in between everything!
 
I have never seen Lord of the Rings and know nothing about it so this shall be quite interesting. Hopefully I can figure it out as the game goes like I did with the Hunger Games one.

I just have to say that I'm amazed at all of these people who know nothing about Lord of the Rings!! They're my favorite movies of all time, and I stood in line for the midnight showing of all three (uh oh... outing my inner dork). But maybe it's because I'm a bit older, haha.

I shouldn't participate in this either, but I can't stay away from LotR 😀

I'm plenty old for it, my "little brother" is obsessed with it, but I just have a hard time getting into science fiction stuff... just not for me. 👎

I've had a couple LotR marathons...with the extended versions!! Random Question- On the subject of science fiction and fantasy, has anyone here ever read Ender's Game? Just curious, it is one of my favorite nerdy books haha

I've tried to set up a marathon of LotR with extended versions! But I've never been able to garner enough interest among my friends 🙁 Since you'll be in Davis next year (congrats! 😀), maybe we can arrange one, haha.

Okay so I've heard both, maybe you know more, but is Prometheus actually gonna be the Alien movies prequel? I've heard yes and no haha. Either way I'm excited for it though!

Yes!! It's definitely a prequel to Alien. If you watch the trailer there are clues 😀

And yes to going to see The Hobbit! I'm not sure any of my current Davis friends will be into it.

Hey!!! I'd totally be down for this!!!!!

My friends are actually HUGE fans and we tried to do this, but it never actually worked. You have to do a several day marathon or something.

It comes out right before we switch rotations, so hopefully radiology will be kind and let me have a life :xf:

Not sure about Prometheus -- it's been a really long time since I've seen any of the Alien films, so I don't remember if I liked them or not! I'll have to rent them at some point. The Avengers is the other movie I'm eagerly anticipating at the moment... it comes out the day I start clinics, but I'm going to do my best to see it!

I can't do an extended LotR marathon because I do not have the attention span for that, but I will go to see the Hobbit ofc.

Awesome!!! That's what I was hoping! I guess at first they were trying to hide that it was Alien, but then it slipped and they denied it haha.

Awesome though! we are already getting an awesome group for a LotR marathon!!

Um... YES! They are my favorite books of all time. I waited five freaking years for book 5 to come out!! And I went to comic-con, went to the GoT panel and met George R.R. Martin and had him sign two of my books 😀

Also - I will totally plan a LotR marathon and anyone who wants to come is invited 😀 And cuit, The Avengers *does* look like a lot of fun!

Nyanko - maybe we can have UC Davis SVM take over the theatre like we did for The Hunger Games, lol.

Haven't ever read the books or seen the movies. Similar to The Hobbit which we had to read in school, though, right? Or is Hobbit part of it. I am clueless 😳
 
Oh, and slow is good for me. Day and night at actual day and night times would be perfect since I'm working and now have 10 babies (2 baby squirrels and 8 baby cottontails).

God bless you with 8 rabbits, I can't keep the damn things alive. And they take FOREVER to feed. I think I remember you saying you tube feed them though? The bunny rehabbers in our area are finally starting to do that. No one likes trying to syringe feed the same baby for 45 minutes...
