Ha I'm guessing there is at least 75 people on the wait list total judging from the waitlist email
Well that's not bad if u realize they had over 6000 apps or somethingWent to the tour today and they said it was between 100 and 130 on the waitlist
they said the same ting today on the tour! I just wanted to let everyone know what they said 🙂 good luck to everyoneWell that's not bad if u realize they had over 6000 apps or something
100-130 people wait listed is not bad ? Ha I thought it around 75 before the post. I think that's a lot of people .they said the same ting today on the tour! I just wanted to let everyone know what they said 🙂 good luck to everyone
Any idea how many got off?Last year, there were 150 students on the waitlist!
And here's to the people who weren't even told they were on the wait list! +1.
I'd like to think that it's a good thing that we weren't rejected when they reviewed us (and I don't think it's realistic to assume they haven't looked at us yet) BUT the realist/pessimist in me thinks that at this point, there's no way they'll just outright accept this late in the game.So what do u think this means for those of us who havent heard back anything? Do u think they'll send everybody else a rejection at this point or do u think theyll still be reviewing apps?
Also on the waitlist.. instate applicant.. complete in august. I feel like going to all those tours and advising appointments did nothing for me :/
Same. I met with Anne several times, but its not like we could even contact her.
Under normal circumstances I don't think so, though a small portion was applied to our first tuition statement.Does anyone know if the acceptance deposit is refundable, and if so, under what terms?

There's an admissions email on the msucom website which I've emailed twice and once Katherine answered and the other time Anne did. I would say they're really easy to contact.
Also, no matter how many times you meet with an advisor or attend these events at the end of the day the most important part is your actual application. I think for well rounded apps doing these things helps set you apart from the applicants who are similar to you (which could be many people out of 6,000 applicants).
Has anyone sent in a letter of intent to admissions? And if so, who did you send it to?
I hear Michigan State doesn't accept letters of intentHas anyone sent in a letter of intent to admissions? And if so, who did you send it to?
When did you get waitlisted Rebeldocs?

Enough to show that you understand what a DO is. 😉On average how many shadowing hours of a DO should you have when applying?

It does not matter. I did not shadow a DO and was still accepted.
I also did not shadow a DO, and received an acceptance from MSUCOM. I think it depends on how strong your other experiences and extra curriculars are. If you can demonstrate an understanding of the profession and genuine desire to be a DO, the fact that you don't have the shadowing experience will likely not matter. On average how many shadowing hours of a DO should you have when applying?
Ha when were you wait listed ?I don't remember what the + value was for waitlist, but uh, yeah add me too. haha.
Are you a Canadian applicant or instate ???I don't remember what the + value was for waitlist, but uh, yeah add me too. haha.
