Hey so when I flip town, what would you conclude from that?

I didn’t know anything about mission impossible before this game so I just went to the wiki too and I’m even more annoyed about this “guilty” on me because it seems very in line with the universe to have manipulated data and crap like that so if PSV is town, we got so screwed.

So the problem is that if PSV and I are both town which however unlikely is still a possibility, one of us HAS to be limmed today so we don’t lose. The only possibility of us winning if we are v/v is if we limmed scum today. Because if we lim town today that is NOT me or PSV, we’d get to 4v2 with one of me/PSV still alive and that’s a guaranteed loss if we’re both town because we’d lim town (me or PSV, whatever order doesn’t matter if we’re both town) at 4v2 and lose. So because of the fringe world we are both town, we need to die today and tomorrow. Unless we have a vig that can just kill the one not limmed today. That would be helpful lol I’d prefer PSV to be limmed because we can save me being the next lim if she flips scum but I know she has the exact same argument against me so it’s a moot point.

If she is true claiming, then this is not contingency because I’m town. So it’s either a lie or an item that basically gave a coin flip of some sort for being helpful vs detrimental.

I have no way of knowing. If this was a scum move I have to believe there are 2 scum that are TEAMED left and this was meant to last 2 days to distract from the last scum and set them up to win at the end in a 5v1. Until the claim, I townread PSV. I’m more upset if a malfunctioning item is going to lose us the game. But in no world would I be okay with me being limmed and then NOT limming PSV when it’s proven that I’m town. Thats way too “what if” for me.

I also recognize that’s wolfy af to say but alas..

Obviously I’ll prefer to be second because there’s a 50/50 chance I’m exonerated on PSV’s flip. And even if I’m not, I’ve stated many times that I know I need to be limmed to clear the world (except for when the person accusing me flips scum) so I’d never fight the lim in that scenario. But I don’t think anyone wants to listen to me at this point.

Since no one else is going to point it out because that would basically mean they are claiming their role and that would hurt town - when I claimed I was vanilla town, I said I’m just an analyst. That’s the vanilla town role: IMF analyst. So the fact that PSV is claiming to be vanilla yet had no idea that I had claimed my “role” is weird but I’m sure she’ll give an excuse that explains it away.

I am vanilla town and I know that means I’m an analyst because it’s my role. Anyone else that had the same role knows I’m telling the truth but now if they move off of me, it’s a claim so we are screwed. But please stay sus of PSV because this is not right. I am not scum.

I guess if role don’t work like that here, then it’s meaningless. I’m used to vanilla roles all having the same name but the pokemon game shows us that’s not always the case. So maybe I’m just wrong and no one believes me because vanilla town all have different role names. But that’s what I am.

Sure.

Spoiler: In the event that you flip village and I’m re-evaluating things from the ground up:

Genny – I’d still consider village based on the timing of the Clem vote and the way she championed it. That kind of timing and commitment feels too village to doubt.

PSV – Honestly, no matter how your flip turns out, I just can’t see Wolf!PSV pulling a move like this, at this stage of the game. Her move here feels too genuine to think she's not village.

mkg323 – I’ve really gone back and forth on her. I've like a decent amount of what I've seen today so my feeling is I'll probably move her up in my reads, after I go back and look through her posts again.

FruitSalad – I haven’t seen enough genuine solving effort to confidently village read this slot. That said, I do want to be cautious of easy misyeet bait, so I’ll keep that in mind. Sometimes, you just need to flip over the rock and see what’s underneath though. I hope it doesn't come to that and they post more so we can get a better sense of whether or not the fruit has gone fuzzy.

SAR – Like FruitSalad, I just haven’t seen enough to make a call here (also I'm not good at reading SAR, since last game was the only wolf game of her's I've seen and I died very early). She’s wrong about her push on me, but I’ve seen that from village SAR before. It does make me suspicious, but I’m still trying to figure SAR out with what little she's given us, and without her incorrect read on me clouding my read on her.

Chic – I do feel like I can follow the logic in a lot of her posts, and they make sense to me from a village perspective. However, MK did bring up some good points, so if I’m re-evaluating MK’s alignment, I need to do the same with Chic and consider the possibility I’ve been reading her wrong.

Madrigal – Same as FruitSalad and SAR, I just don’t have enough to feel like I can get a decent read. Hoping to see more from Madrigal.

Vampyrica – I’ll need to go back and re-read your interactions with Vamp specifically with the knowledge of your flip, and see if anything stands out in a new light. In general I haven't found Vamp particularly wolfy, but I'll at least consider your arguments without assuming they're coming from a scum sided motivation.
