I'm here, just need to recharge my introvert batteries in-between posts lol.
I'm with y'all! Submitted in May, secondaries through June-July and NOTHING. Trying not to stress out too much.... but it doesn't really work!
Any of yall have that irrational fear there's a red flag or some huge mistake in your application somewhere lmao
Hi fam. I’m still here, too! My mom thinks I’ll get interviews, so there’s that...
How’s everyone holding up? I got this email (see pic) and was SO excited. I opened it up, and it was just a promo email from trinity. Fml.
I said this same thing to a friend the other day, definitely hoping this isn't the caseAny of yall have that irrational fear there's a red flag or some huge mistake in your application somewhere lmao
Goddamn you weren’t joking...93+ SDN reported rejections, which likely means well over 400 Rs went out that day. Holy ****.
This will be even more of a slaughter this year...Once you combine the complete email paranoia with a wave of 100 rejections...UPitt thread is gonna lose it.
i think this would depend on personal situation. Lots of Rs plus some II would be fine with me as opposed to being anxious for a year, but no Rs would pair better with no II.
Right there with both of y’all!!! Can’t help but think something is wrong that I haven’t heard anything yet when I submitted pretty early for most schools but I have to keep reminding myself that they don’t review in order and at least I don’t have any rejections yet! Our time will come my friends!
To all those still folllowing this thread, you guys deserve kudos for staying strong!
No one knows the future and IIs may not come by the end of this week but I think the vast majority of sdn ppl will have IIs by the end of September
Sending you all positive energy
This is the positive energy I need on this fine Thursday morning. Thank you
Submitted all my secondaries before July 15th, and still nothing man
I feel it coming!
Because once it comes you don’t want it to stop coming until you die?C. Diff.
My birthday is next week, and but since i was a complete a little later I'm not hopeful for an II.Birthday is this week...I know what would be a great gift... HEAR MY PLEA II GODS
I'm a bio major who took soft physics and minimal math needed for my degree ( I'm only taking an extra math class now), and C/P was my best section, percentage rank wise. It was always a close second, but on the real thing, it was my best.I was a math major who did the bare minimum in bio and I didn’t take biochem until after the MCAT and b/b was tied for my best section (with c/p).
lol....anxious and feeling hopeless to say the leastHow we feelin about this week tho
I've already received R's (plural)My hope is that I can get at least one II before getting an R, lol.

We are still early on in the process.
+1 with a September birthday. As long as I don’t get a rejection before or ON my birthday later this month, I’ll be fine.My birthday is next week, and but since i was a complete a little later I'm not hopeful for an II.
Edit: I meant that I'm not hopeful for having an II by my birthday, because I was recently complete. Although, I'm not super hopeful for an MD II at all, more for DO.
I think I’m officially triggered by hearing how early/late/on time we are in this process lol. No offense to you specifically, but it seems like all us applicants are just throwing these words around and have no idea where tf we are in this process.
Times like this I really wish my schools had like a II tracker or something to clarify
You could just listen to the actual adcoms on here who have posted timelines over and over again instead of neurotic premeds who actually have no clue and are just repeating neuroticisms. Just a thought.
Same!lol....anxious and feeling hopeless to say the least

Does the Navy teach you differently than the Army taught me? We are supposed to explicitly listen strictly to only what word of mouth from those who have no clue about anything. Remember, sailor - think harder not smarter
Weren't you just recently complete ( sort of like me). It's too early. They haven't even gotten to our apps yet. At least that's what I tell myelf...

Ofc ...I'm always right. Even when I'm being facetious. You're probably right actually.

If they haven’t gotten to you for interviews then they probably haven’t gotten to you for rejections. Remain neutral until results are yielded. It is probably too early, I am just impatient. Although I have seen a few people who submitted after me at some schools get interviews already. I am bolstered by the fact that I have not been caught in any rejection or hold waves yet.

I honestly feel like since I have a much higher chance at DO ( LM 66 RIP) , I'm sort of anticipating R's from my MD schools, but some love for DO as soon as I get done with those. It is probably too early, I am just impatient. I was complete mid-Sept due to some LOR issues. Like 9/14 I was complete. I believe Tessellations is similar to that , as well.I also applied around the end of August. However, I have seen some get an II who applied around the same time as I, so there's that too. I apologize in advance if this potentially triggers your neuroticism
