There are many wonderful things about the great state of Maine, and Pippy will wax poetic about its virtues if you give her any kind of opening. The skiers asked her for advice on where to go next, and she promptly told them that if you're going to go downhill skiing in New England, then you must try Sugarloaf.

Sugarloaf is the second largest ski resort east of the Mississippi, and the only one to offer lift-serviced above-treeline skiing. Set on the pristine Sugarloaf Mountain in central Maine, the ski area offers 1,240 acres of skiing and a continuous vertical drop of 2,820 feet. At 4,237 feet, Sugarloaf Mountain is second in elevation to Maine's highest peak, Mount Katahdin. The Appalachian Trail crosses within 0.6 miles of Sugarloaf's peak and the summit offers 360 degree views of Maine's western mountains and New Hampshire's White Mountains (2 for the price of 1!).

One skier decided to try her luck above the treeline, and hopped on the high speed quad up to the summit. Once she reached the top, however, she was so awestruck by the beauty of Maine that she sat down in the snow and spent the day enjoying the views (especially watching nerdy college students take awesome selfies at the top). She was still there when the sunset, at which point she abandoned the rest of the ski trip in favor of going out in Portland.

If anyone cares.... dont vote cray. I know its current at zero votes (one contigency pulled off of her), but there was some talk about this yesterday and I was hoping to see her response. At some level this is what she ALWAYS does. She checks in and then checks out and its just.... its just cray. I think the last time I saw her play much was when she was in warhammer and she had a raging nerd-on that game, so I get it. So she could be a wolf but, honestly, the slightly better math play is to leave her be until you have only one wolf left and then you can consider if she really seems more suspicious by being her usual highly inactive self.

She has been an inactive wolf before, but in those cases she got sniffed out eventually by process of elimination. but in this game? I just believe she is villager. Enough for me to suggest we dont jump down her throat for phoning it in. We can always come back to her because - and i admit this - its only a *slightly* better move to leave her be until closer to real end game.

This feels stupid to me. I know I just criticized dina, but seriously. How does SOV being the other neighbor (this is a thing? And we know he is? Also, what is a village neighbor?) equate to him being suspicious? SOV is playing like his usual self of being aggressive with his suspicions then disappearing (with advance warning and good IRL excuse) for 3/4 of the day. Is it something specific to the neighbor role? I want to know why you think a partner of a known villager would be more wolfy upon discovering that person is indeed a villager.

Neighbor means they can PM but don't know each other's affiliation. It has been confirmed that SOV is the other neighbor (well, not mod confirmed, but dolphin and SOV both said it).

I will say it felt weird for Mel to lay off what seemed like a strong SOV suspicion just because I asked for him to be left alive, but I don't know if that says anything about SOV...probably should have just been more reason to look at Mel earlier.

I'm pretty comfy with SOV based on his behavior and his interactions with mel

Interesting thought here: the OG wolf wouldn't have wanted Mel lynched before he shot his wad (and by that I mean his two shots) so maybe we can look for something like that (I can also look later but headin out soon)

That vote I already explained easily.

Coffee was the obvious right vote my day 1. Blatantly obvious just good math move. People were pushing for mel despite that. Makes no ****ing sense to me to be pushing for him even if he was suspicious when you have an obvious vote right out there. Makes me strongly disinclined to believe that the mel hunch is based on good intel and logic, so when no one is feeling my vote for you or zig, then I vote for the least offensive of two options to me since I was still hung up on the mel lynch seeming absurd to distract from coffee.

Hey now. I intentionally started a counter to coffee so we could get more info out of the day. And then at the end of the day was still going to make sure coffee got lynched.

And yes, cheezit's reaction to coffee's earlier fake seer claim made him very suspicious which is why I chose him as a counter. I think that led to the good logic that other people used the next day for continuing to vote for him (while I had a stroke and voted elsewhere, probably just to make myself look bad)

I am going to stick with my DocE-WZ-Dina triumverate, with the 1st being higher feels. I have reasons to doubt all of them.

DocE is playing very village-like, but perhaps what else should we expect from him? To do obvious stupid things? His vote on me earlier is not consistent with his comments today so perhaps now he is trying to distract me.

WZ like I said started to feel off after the 1St coffee lynch, and to me, she somehow uses her pleasing personality (and General WW helpfulness) to avoid getting lynched. Anyone else would probably have been lynched now.

Dina- not adding much, biggest thing going was that early coffee vote that helped get things started.

I had already said at that point I wasn't moving my vote again. I lost the thread of my vote hopping strategy and instead of it being a test for others it just became me freaking out.

I'm not really concerned with SOV and sporty at the moment, that is more due to larger context than that lynch in particular.

As for me being a wolf because dolphin wasn’t? That is some faulty logic. I agree her being village does not in any way clear me, but the inverse is not true,,,her being village doesn’t make me a wolf. They are 2 uncorrelated events theoretically that incidentally happen to have the same sign(we are bother village).

Just ask @StartingoverVet himself, who just complained that my vote for him made him suspicious. He will agree that this sort of move is also par for the course for me. I have my little stand about what I believe for most of a round and then at the end I will go and vote for whoever is the most deserving of the likely to be voted off. I don't want to waste a vote unless I *know* something.

SOV doesn't like that I voted for him two days ago but am supporting him now. I was WAY behind on the thread two days ago and I had a pretty cohesive theory that whoever people voted for that wasn't coffee was bull****. So that same bull**** vote (per my going logic at the tone) going against a SOV who is sneaky as hell and I hadn't had time to fully read into yet? Definitely voting to lynch SOV at the time of those are my choices. But "at the time" is important context. I've been open that my read has changed as I caught up.

Anyway, go ask SOV himself if he really thinks my vote that day was inconsistent with everything I always do.

Side brag: he will also say that my consistency is good enough that I do the same as a wolf too. And as chaos. And as anything.
