Seriously hasn't sunk in that I actually just got accepted to my top choice DO school..and that I'm going to be a doctor. I hope there are more acceptances today. I interviewed with a lot of awesome people.

8/28 and OOS (NV). Two weeks and one day. Hopefully you'll hear in that time frame too. My letter is dated 9/10.

Yup! Literally walked out of my AZCOM interview and bam there it was. I feel like I rocked my interview today too so it's pretty much the best day ever.

On a side note, is it just me or does it seem like a lot of acceptances? I mean Bradenton seemed to put out a bunch of waitlists, but this is a heartening amount of acceptances. Hope it continues for the 9/6 interviewees!

Yea seems like a lot.. nsu apparently accepts 400 out of 600 interviewees though. I hate that i'm stuck at work for another 6 hours.

My Nova interview is scheduled for late October but I want to wait until I hear back from DMU until I buy my plane tickets. Hopefully that isn't too late.

Accepted. I'm local, so I actually received my packet today. (The letter was dated 9/10, but was postmarked 9/13). Included in the packet was a copy of the letter we received, a letter with further instructions, a brochure, and some other forms. First deposit of $1250 is due by December 14th. Congratulations everyone!

He doesn't because the adcom only meets every few weeks. Someone said he wouldn't be on campus until 9/20 but I guess that was inaccurate.

My vote is no unless LECOM is in your top 5 and Im pretty sure it isnt. You're gonna get in elsewhere

While it's great to get a vote of confidence from a fellow SDNer (and really, thank you!), and even though I feel like AZCOM and ATSU SOMA were my best interviews thus far, there is no guarantee that I'm getting in somewhere else!
I'm seriously not going to whine about it. First world problems, right? I'm going to be a doctor even if it requires paying an extra $1500 when I probably didn't have to. Small price to pay

Hey, It's like you said the decision is yours to make. Only you know what's best for you and I will never fault anyone for doing what they think is best especially when the decison they make is to play it safe. However, that doesn't mean I won't tell you "I told you so" when you have multiple acceptances to schools higher up than LECOM. 😀

Sooo, about that brewski. 😎

Nova is definitely still very high on my list. I might hold you to it if I'm there next fall. Im so excited!

I withdrew from WVSOM and LECOM which were my last two interviews the second I got my acceptance lol. Definitely made my day.
