I am pretty sure Anastasia said for us not to call her unless we do not hear from them by Friday, 10/12. I took that as meaning we should hear back from them before then because I doubt they want a bunch of eager pre-meds calling to find out their status.

Not sure. I interviewed on a Tuesday, and it looks like the other interview that is being talked about was Tuesday 9/25. That leads me to believe that Tuesdays are the day for interviews.

The only dates that open up on the calendar are the ones on Tues/Thurs. Chances are that I might not make it to my interview here because these are the days when my class is scheduled. 🙁 My professor already allowed me to miss a few and now I would be to afraid to ask for more absences.

From my experiences, professors are very understanding when you're missing class for a good reason (i.e. for interview at any sort of professional program). I just made sure not to schedule interviews over test dates that way I don't make them do anything extra to accommodate me. I'd bet he/she'll be pretty understanding if you explain that the school ONLY interviews Tuesdays and Thursdays.

That's so far away from now! 🙁 I'll just have to rewatch everything until then.
 
For those who have received their post-interview notifications, how long did it take? one week, two week? want to know if some people receive it earlier than others...
 
I've decided that if Drexel is the only MD school I get accepted to, I will be matriculating at NSU next Fall. Also 11k posts.

Yea I took a closer look and nsu juat seems like a better fit. DMU is awesome, but I like how there's so many people around all the time at nsu.

The memory of being blown away by nsu and just feeling blah about dmu helps too.

I submitted my primary last week with a ~3.3c/3.45sci/32mcat. Should I have a shot here? I realllllly want to attend Nova!

Accepted to the old Chevy med school!

Interviewed 9/20. 3.1 cGPA, 4.0 postbac GPA, 32P MCAT. It probably helped that I was easily the oldest in my interview group, and one of two nontrads.

Congratulations. I bet Florida is a lot different from Alaska! I hope you like the humidity. And the 'skeeters are a little smaller in Florida. 🙂

I was bit by one while sitting at the pool in Bradenton. It only took about a half pint. Red cross has done worse.

:laugh: I'm sorry. I was born and raised in Florida, so I find the question a tad funny.

Skeeters are everywhere in humid climates, especially in Florida. It's not so bad that you need to walk around or sleep in a net during the night, but you just need to be mindful of where you are going. If you're going somewhere that is woodsy, bring bug spray. It's really not that big a deal.

No, Dudliness has had at least three other acceptances already before he went to Nova. He has known since late September that he was accepted to Nova, he just didn't get the packet with the rest of us.
