I called Nova today and they said that decisions have been made and that letters have been sent out (or are going to be sent out). We should know within the week. Admission information cannot be shared over the phone. Good luck everyone!!

When I was accepted earlier this year (March 20), I received the news via email and mail. This should be the case for you guys as well. Good luck!

Oh ok, when I called today I specifically asked if they were sending emails and she said no. But when I interviewed they said we would get a call if it was an acceptance they also said that would be by May 1st. So I don't know what to expect really.

I doubt that they would send acceptances just by snail mail. It seems like we are all wait listed or rejected. I was initially supposed to hear back on April 17th and they kept delaying the committee meeting. I really think that less people declined than they thought they would so they don't have spots to accept people.

Gosh I hope that's not the case. So many people who are so deserving are waiting to hear back. I live in Ft Laderdale, I wish I could just drive there and ask! Snail mail will kill me.

They told me that they had a lot of seats available at my interview in mid-March as well. However, schools typically accept about 2x the class size so they are likely talking about this number rather than the number of seats they actually have in the class. Trust me, I truly hope that this is not the case because I love the school. I just don't know how else to feel when admissions has not answered my calls, my decision has been delayed multiple times, and now they are saying decisions are being mailed rather than saying "decisions will come by phone call, email or mail".

I called this morning and the little automated voice said "your wait should be less than 30 minutes!" and I decided I didn't want to wait 30 minutes to be told the same thing again.

And I agree - I'm nervous about that too. But hey, if we get wait listed, we can hope for some movement. They said that last year waitlisters got in. Fingers crossed they're just snail mailing acceptances too

Did anyone get an acceptance without a call or email? Does anyone have experience with this that can comment?

Out if 64 people we were all sent letters?
I kept in touch with everyone I interviewed with just because I'm ocd and need to know everything eveRyday.
And not one person got a call or email.
everyone was just kept in the dark and was told "letters have been sent out on Wednesday" and they should be in in about a week.
Which is 21 days late.....

I find it impossible that they rejected or wait listed everyone.
What was the point of the interview then.

My interview group definitely had very strong candidates in it so I don't see how it's possible for every single person that interviewed since mid-March to be waitlisted or rejected. I don't know how they could have overshot their mark by so much, so early on that they don't have a single seat to offer someone. I am glad that we at least have each other to vent to through this stressful time :/

Well when they tell you they have 30-38 seats left I assumed half of us would get in and the rest would be majority wait listed.

That is exactly what I thought. It gave me false hope and it really sucks.

I am in the same boat. Maybe, though, it's not false hope - we'll see! Nobody's heard anything yet, right? Everybody at NSU Admissions was so kind and I really have a hard time believing they would blanket deny or wait list 64+ people who worked hard and prepped for an interview and all that.

I appreciate it! I am accepted to another DO school (and I am on 2 MD waitlists) so at least I will become a doctor one way or another. This school just felt like a much better fit for me. I am hoping that it all works out for us!
