But has anyone heard from Washington Hospital MedStar or Howard University?

After emailing twice with no response, I called Washington MedStar about a discrepancy I noted between their postings in the PASS system and what is described in their Supplemental Application. I was connected to a secretary in their Oral Surgery department who told me that she doesn't think they are going to have a program next year and that there is a lot of stuff "up in the air" at the moment... I emailed the program director this past weekend about this and haven't heard back.

For Howard, I got an email yesterday just saying that my application had been received in it's entirety and there are no further steps to take at this moment.

Depends on the school. One of mine says casual for the social and mentions jeans being appropriate. Another says to wear business casual for the social. If you’re unsure it’s usually ok to contact the interview coordinator to ask. Good luck!
