When I think of the HP movies, I think of disappointment and inconsistency. I never even saw the last three.

The last two (both Deathly Hallows) are far closer to what I wish ALL the other movies had been. I have no problem with a book split into two movies....I still feel shafted Dobby/Kreature was left out of so much of the movies....when I had read all remaining books and KNEW there was a larger part for house elves!!

Oh, you cannot imagine my wrath. At the movie theatre. With my hand-sewn robes. And want. And Hogwarts uniform.

I was really sad about the death day party being cut out. For some reason I really wanted to see the rotting food

Omg I hated the kreacher jip in the last movie! It is such an integral part of the book how could they not just include the tiniest of clips showing Harry's change of affection and kreachers change in devotion.

And the Harry and hermione dance scene in the 7th? I hate it every time.

Don't even get me started on the 5th movie. I rarely even bother watching that one. Waste of film really.

Maybe someday I'll get around to watching them. I agree about the one book/two movies thing--if the book is good and the movies are good, more movie is always better! I like long movies.

I read the books one by one as they came out and will always love them best. I am ALWAYS reading at least one. Right now I'm in the middle of "Half blood Prince" and "Goblet of Fire"....I also regularly have a movie playing as background when I'm organzing or cleaning or whatever.

AND - the best thing ever - My TV remote is a wand. I have to move it in different ways to get it to do different things. My hubby and I geek out over it all the time, lol. Sometimes we turn the TV on for the heck of it.

They are freaking expensive! My suster got it for us for Christmas but I looked up how much it was. It's awesome because it can also hook up to like fireplaces and fans that are on remote too. I dream of having my entire house controlled by wands!! 😀

I got the first three for Christmas one year, then the rest as they came out. Mom made a good decision when she heard about "these books I might like." 😛

I'm charged with my 6 year old cousin for the evening and all I wanted to do was put on a hp movie and be in my happy place. But I just didn't think he would truly get the hp experience I've been dreaming of introducing him to 🙂

And now I shall be putting on audiobook 2 and falling asleep (hopefully 🙁 )

As students are returning to their common rooms, everyone is abuzz with the news of Kismet's death. Suddenly, screaming is heard from the Slytherin common room (AGAIN). The students stare in horror at DVMDream, Seamus Finnigan, who is dead, her eyes blank and wide open, staring at nothing. One student swore she saw green light and heard a male voice speak "Avada Kedavra!" Nothing, however, has been confirmed.

In other news, there is rumor of a confused student wandering around one of the halls, though the student has not been identified. The rumor continues that this student may be headed for detention. Several students gather in corners and whisper about the shadowy shapes that have been seen roaming around, though no one knows who, or what they may be.

It said that it would make the student confused and befuddled so that they miss class and end up in detention where they couldn't talk to their housemates privately. I thought it meant that she just couldn't PM her house at night.
