That's fine, I agree. I'm more concerned about the info coming out of Ravenclaw. wildcatj and Katie8 are on my radar.
 
SOO...I've got a pretty busy morning and I probably won't have time to check in before the lynch (2 ponies to ride and 3 miles to run!) so my vote is as follows:

Lynch Abber

Honestly, I'm more suspicious of IPB but since she is silenced, I don't want to lynch without hearing her defense. Abber is next on my list of suspicions so that's the way the cookie crumbles for me today...
 
I definitely agree that we should be focusing on the original wolves, and not the 'converts' if there are any yet.

So, Ravenclaw, has everyone in your talkative group shared their identities with eachother?

Everyone on this forum should know by that my identity is Cho Chang.

I know TW and kakurubird's identity because they revealed it in PMs

I don't know anyone else's identity in ravenclaw.

Everyone else's been checked out, and Katie8 would be silly to make up Cho Chang if she was actually a wolf. That's a pretty major character. SOMEONE would have Cho and hopefully speak up.
 
I want to wait until wildcat comes back to explain. But at least it will solve nyankomess if she turns up a wolf.

Sorry guys... just got back from a ridiculously long day out collecting & running scores for a dressage event. I had practically no sleep last night and I am beyond wrecked. I get to do it all again tomorrow! :smack: Not even sure what is going on with the lynch. I tried to check in a few times on my phone, but it was not easy.

I just got back - work cancelled so I had to run some errands and literally just got on my computer. 🙁 Ironically I'm back at work.
 
The students feel confident that someone in ravenclaw is a death eater masquerading as a hogwarts student, and they agree to act on their suspicions and gather round to lynch wildcatj. Just as they are about to finish her off, Jjohnston stands up and declares "I veto this lynch.". Everyone looks around in disbelief, and they all agree that Jjohnston is definitely acting a bit off....

Night deadline of 10 pm cst but if I can, and if I have all PMs I'll close it early!
 
DUDE. What the hell. I did NOT voluntarily veto this lynch - I voted to lynch wildcatj, after all! I got a weird message from the mods that a floating sensation overcame me and I was "immensely compelled" to veto the lynch and so did so. I e-mailed the mods backed and asked if this counts as my veto, since I didn't choose to use it.

I have a feeling this means the end of me, but I swear I'm a student and I swear I did NOT e-mail the mods and ask to veto this lynch. 😕

If jj were a wolf, I think she would have been holding on to that veto for dear life. I am inclined to believe her that it was not her decision, at least for now.

No, please see my post above explaining. I got a message that a floating sensation overcame me (a ghost??) and that I was compelled to veto the lynch and so I did so. I did not ask the mods to veto this lynch. That doesn't even make sense, I voted for wildcat to be lynched. I subsequently got a message from the mods that I'm feeling back to normal. I am as confused as everyone else.
 
So what we're left with is whether wildcat is a wolf and the wolves did it to save one of their own, or wildcat is innocent and they're trying to confuse us and stall for time.

:idea: Definitely sounds reasonable to me, but now the dilemma of whether the wolves were protecting wildcat or trying to mess with our heads as it seems they have been doing all game so far😡

Oooh, good thought. From wikipedia: "Description: Causes the victim of the curse to obey the spoken/unspoken commands of the caster. The experience of being controlled by this curse is described as a complete, wonderful release from any sense of responsibility or worry over one's actions, at the price of one's free will." Sounds about right compared to the PM I got from the mods.

I don't have that on my item list... maybe it's not a normal RNG item but a wolf-particular item and that's why we haven't heard of it yet?
