Hello everyone, I wish I'd posted earlier, but I actually just registered for SDN. I've only stumbled on this website since interviewfeedback has been down. It's great! Anyway, I also called Harvard yesterday. In fact, I called twice because I just got so fed up with all the mixed information. When I called in the morning, I was told that no decisions had been mailed and they hoped to send them all out by the end of the week. So I said, "So, you're mailing all of them on Friday?" and he said, "Yes."
Then, in the afternoon, after reading this site, I got completely annoyed and called back. At that point, they said "Oh, actually, some decisions have been mailed today. We are not sending them all out at once, but in batches. And we hope to send them all out by the end of the week." So I said, "I read that some people had received decisions already." He said, "No, I don't think that's right." (Though I think he may have just been discounting the pre-interview rejections). So I said (and here, I officially become ridiculous, I warn you), "Just to be completely clear: are you sending them out alphabetically?" He said, "Yes, but they are in big batches."
So, there you go. I am ridiculous. I have called multiple times. But I did end up with information that makes me slightly less crazy waiting for the letter. I hope this helps quell the anxiety of other readers as well. At this point, I am reassured by any postings to this list.
Thanks to everyone else who's been sharing information!
