The only problem I have with this... is that is a very, very suspicious thing to do as a wolf, that is almost a very bad move.... but then again... maybe that is what she wants us to think.....

Oh, I know you weren't. But you brought up the attack on me, and I figured I could at least reveal what I know about it (which isn't very damn much), and spell out my thinking (also: not very damn much).

Regarding FH: That's fair. I dunno if I agree, but the thinking makes sense.

Especially when so far people have been ok with letting it ride. Why not ride it out even longer? If I'm a wolf and I've rolled the "don't lynch the idle player" nonsense (I'm wholeheartedly with SOV on lynching idle people, regardless of whether he turns out to be villager or wolf) this far into the game and it's worked .... I think I'd be tempted to just ride it to a win. I'd definitely consider it, anyway.

I dunno. You could convince me either way.

I don't know if it's true, but it just doesn't make sense for her not to come on hardly at all. Also as the beginning of the game there was a lot of talk about not lynching players just because they were quiet. I can see how she just decided to give up, but then people usually say they won't be on much or they mention something about not participating. With how often she appeared to be logging on (though I've really only checked consistently the past couple of days) it was just really weird for her not to be talking in here.
 
Keep thinking. I'm going to make some fudge and cookies. I need to not stare at my computer screen for just a little while. I'll try to be back in about half an hour.

Agree with this... I could go either way. I could see a wolf pushing to lynch her now that she is back if she is a villager and I could see her being a wolf and just now coming back and hoping that people will think that was too risky of a move for a wolf to make.

But look how long she lasted. In most games (except the "dream team" of pokemon:meanie:) only wolves converted late in the game survive to the end.

If she was an early conversion, it would be brilliant to last this long.

Her only mistake (if she is a wolf), is posting in other threads.

And I have to admit, I have tried the silence thing as a wolf, and then read a thread and respond without thinking, screwing up the "I am not around so don't lynch me" defense. I have pretty much given that up because I would rather play than live... but anyway, that would make sense to me.

If she showed up without ANY posts on SDN she could have just claimed finals or something.

How long she lasted is kind of irrelevant right now... I mean we had people (you included) repeating that she had been cleared and it would be a waste to lynch her even though she is not contributing (which is weird for you to say.. but I digress).... She wasn't doing or saying anything so if she has remained a villager, there really is no reason for the wolves to attack her... why would a wolf kill off a non-contributing villager? They wouldn't.

It could go either way...

If she is a villager I could see a wolf trying to throw her under the bus and get her lynched, it would be an easy thing to do.

but if she is a wolf....

I could see her coming back now that it matters, but I still find it a bit of a risky move for a wolf to make. Then again, she could hope that we see that as too risky of a move so that we don't lynch her.
 
See, I'd put money on the only reason I've lasted this long (was and still am a villager) is so the wolves could throw suspicion on me at the end-game.

So if FTB was a magician, one could argue that I was blocked or that possibly...she was protecting SOV.

So with that being the best theory I have right now...

- FFM was Rupdolph and could protect

- Orca was/is The Ghost of Christmas Past and can block

- Devyn is something that I think has a title and can investigate

- You are Frosty and mentioned that the mod will tell you when your role is able to be used????

Maybe you can clarify that because it doesn't add up with the other known roles.

All my PM says is that I'm Frosty and my role will be revealed if necessary. 🙁 That's it. I know it doesn't match, but that's all I have.

Not a wolf trying to throw her under. Just really suspicious. Coming back from the dead doesn't automatically make you a wolf, though I suppose it may depend on who brings you back. As of right now I'm still rooting for the villagers.

I am sorry, I am not trying to say that you are a wolf... I have no reason to believe that you will still be around after this night cycle and I have no reason at all to believe that you are a wolf, just a temporary visitor.... I am just stating the two different possibilities that I could see.

I understand. I wish I hadn't died earlier, so I could be around longer, but at least the wolves got me. And I suppose it was just a matter of time. Hopefully, someone will be able to bring packen back after tonight and we can get the rest of the wolves.

I've normally seen wolf protecting roles in games where villagers (or another group) could kill. Sometimes protecting could also shield from investigation.

Anyways.
 
Tired of the bickering, the villagers return to their homes. They continue to hear yelling throughout the night. It isn't until the next morning that they realize there was a point in the night it became quiet.

I had the hat again last night. I brought back Jdh. Before everyone goes crazy - I tried to bring Packen back and was instructed to pick a different player; I was given no reason.

I lied. I had the list again last night. I investigated devyn and she came back as she was originally on the nice list, but was now very naughty. She has been converted. I have since actually lost the list. lynch devyn
 
Just got home - long day of studying and exam.... then went to the pub to see my poker friends for a quick break from the studying and finals madness.....

Seems you lie a whole lot.... cause this is a load of BS.... I am not a wolf... not now.. not ever... and I have not been converted... seems we are at the end game and you think you can get me lynched then win.... that would be a sad day for the villagers.... I think you are a lying wolf.... and I was right to be suspicious of you....
 
SOV and devyn have been thick as thieves.

Look how they lost their **** about my devyn lynch idea. One I still like a lot. Though I'm a lot more interested in SOV first.
 
See why we never needed a seer for the rest of the game?

Ok of we assume devyn is a concert deduction would give us SOV as an original wolf probably as he would have avoided initial seering. This would also make him more likely to be an alpha wolf. So needs to go now.

They get a kill.

Which leaves me, LIS and FH (probably a villager) or nohika who is frosty.

We lynch devyn and that should game.

You can lynch me, but that essentially gives the game to the wolves which is what they are counting on....

You lynch a villager today (me) then they get a kill tonight - game over... that is it....

There are 4 permanent players left and 1 temporary.... which means after today's lynch assuming there are 2 wolves which I think is a very good possibility that then tonight it will be their game - they will win.....

This is not an information finding lynch anymore - this is end game.... this is it.... so I would not recommend lynching me if we want to win this game for the villagers.
