Alright, I have to go to bed. I am torn on the swing vote. Early in the game I thought swings was playing really suspiciously. Last minute voting, random posts that weren't very substantial. Basically here enough not to get noticed for missing, but not really contributing. Then she threw out the first vote for tropicana for a really good, valid reason, and tropicofcancer turned out to be a wolf. Granted, this could have been a wolfy ploy, throw tropicthunder under the bus to remove all suspicion from swing (IIRC, swings had had a few votes before this), but it seems early in the game to try such a maneuver when no one was whole-heartedly gunning for you. So there is my dilemma when it comes to voting for swings.

So this will probably come to bite me in the arse if swings is a villager but I will just choose option B.

Between PMs and posts in the thread, it just reminds me too strongly of when we were wolves together. Plus I am convinced there is at least one wolf in our group. Maybe more. I know I am not, Philli was just cleared, and IDEALLY nohika is still a good snowman and not a were-frosty now. So of the two left, I chose hedgie.

I am headed to bed shortly and the lynch will end when I am sleeping.... I think like 4 AM my time, so..... since packen has suspicions of hedgie and there were some suspicions voiced earlier on within my group about her... I will go with that for now... don't want to RNG this late in the game

quieter than usual, missed a lynch or two, has added little of value. It is a lousy reason for a lynch, but not much else springs to mind.

Sorry I've been MIA. Seriously in study mode as well. Had a test today. Needed an A on it to get an A in the class. I will be more active now since I have cushion room for pretty much every final left. 🙂

As for the lynch I am as of now inclined to go with hedgie for self-preservation. But will change with any solid info.

Earlier, i was going to vote foxhunter but I would think she would be more active as a wolf instead of blatantly ignoring the thread and pms. I mean, yes she has been flying under the radar, but would any wolf be so daring to not post a thing?

I hate to bandwagon, but I don't have any good ideas (makes me really miss having a seer role like I did in a couple games). Hedgie usually posts a ton so lynch hedgie.
 
I have no idea about Hedgie or Swings. But I still have a feeling about wldlfstdnt

When was she cleared? Not saying she has been converted, but conversions are sometimes possible.

The Island of Misfit Toys is also empty now. It seems Wolfspeaker drank some poisoned glogg in preparation for her finals. A deep throaty cackle seems to come from nowhere and everywhere.

So it seems Frosty's hat keeps you alive for one full cycle, except for nohika, who is still alive, but perhaps that's because she is Frosty. This means that there could have been a conversion the night that Lissa died.

i am probably going to end up putting my vote for swingnsave again or wldlfstnd.

I will check in from time to time in between studying so will hold off for now waiting for more info.

I noticed. 🙁 No ideas here. But class is about to start and we haven't heard from FH much, though she's been on other threads. This isn't based on much, but if she is a villager, she's not really helping. So lynch FH. We'll see how this one goes.
 
Also, I had the hat a second night and gave it to FFM AGAIN, but that did not work.

SO either
1 - the hat can only be used one night at a time, or perhaps even only one time on a player. or

2- Something happened to FFM unrelated to the hat.

I don't have the hat tonight.🙁

At least I had an item this game ( I have been in a role/item slump).

I think it would be a strange coincidence if BOTH Lissa and FFM were brought back with the hat and then both killed by other events exactly one cycle later.

But you misunderstand my point...

LissaRae was brought back by Hedgie for one night only. She lost the hat after that. So Lissarae left after the hat was used on someone else (nohika).

I used the hat for TWO NIGHTS on FFM. But he only stayed around for one night. So either the hat can only be used for one night in a row, can only be used on one person for one night total, or something else happened to FFM.

We were under the assumption that as long as you had the hat you kept on living. That is clearly not true.

Still we have 3 cases with 3 different outcomes:
1- lissarae - had hat one night lived for one cycle.
2 - nohika - had hat for one night, continues living (the Frosty effect).
3 - FFM - had hat for two nights, only lived for one cycle.

My guess is that the hat can only be used on a player for one night, then they can never be revived again, except frosty who obviously has a close connection to the hat (this reminds me of Dyachei's Hunger games where items were more effective in certain hands).
 
Awesome job! Another wolf bites the dust!

Since hedgie was a wolf, I'm beginning to wonder if nohika was revived and converted. For one reason, she is the only one that has remained in the game after the hat was supposedly used on her and then used on someone else (right?). Hedgie also made a point in group PMs about giving Frosty the hat so she could keep it and remain alive. The night after she said that, nohika was revived. Also as Packen noted, a conversion might have happened the night Lissa was "killed," which is the night nohika returned.

DVMD, was there anything different about when you used the hat on Frosty?

Based on that, I'm voting to lynch nohika for now.

If someone has something better, I'm all ears. Please don't just bandwagon, and I know nohika has been quiet for real life stuff as well. But I've been missing lynches due to my stupid internet lately so while it's working, I want to get my thoughts and a vote out there. Will attempt to check back in later.

No, I used the hat on nohika two nights, not one.
 
Okay, so I don't get lynched, ask questions of me. If I am silent, it means I am taking my online final.
 
And, lynch swingnsave... was hoping Santa's List would indict or clear swings, but not hearing anything else one way or the other, I'm going to stick with that vote.

OK, I am on board now, I get what you're saying. So for non-frosty people, the hat has a *chance* of bringing you back for one cycle. I say chance because I remember someone tried to bring EC back and it didn't work. Plus there was a night or two between DVMD using it on nohika and FFM coming back where someone probably had it and tried to use it?

Looking at potentials for this lynch - what are thoughts on the players in whoville? I know a while back jdh said LIS was cleared. But if Lissa's second death was merely an effect of the hat, then there could be a conversion that night. Statistically speaking, there is a high probability of a wolf in that group. Would also explain why they wanted Lissa gone so early in the game.

Swings has been under a lot of fire lately, and I think I have voiced my hesitation there ad nauseum.

What about wldlf, LIS and FH? Has FH PMed ANY ONE in the group?

Something with his nose? Maybe he helps Santa. Maybe Santa has a one time ability or something and Rudolph is needed to do that. Or maybe he can investigate? Like bring light to someone's role?

Sorry, being lazy, and super tired from endless studying. Remind me again why such the distrust of swings? Just being quiet/absent or have you picked up on anything in PMs.

Was super scrambling cause I thought the lynch was in a little more than an hour....just realized it is not for many hours...EST no GMT. Ok, will check in later.
