**Official PASS 2024 Endodontic Residency Interviews/Information

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Does anyone know where I can fill out the Endodontics Service Application for Nova or do we not need to do that

This may seem like a silly question. I understand that the final decision in selecting a successful candidate in an interview rests with the program director. However, it seems that many programs provide candidates with the opportunity to interact with existing residents during the interview process. I'm curious to know if the evaluation of existing residents typically holds a significant influence in the selection of successful candidates, or if the program director ultimately makes the final decision.

Some programs directors will ask the residents how they feel about the candidate, if they got along well during lunch, etc since you would be interacting with them as well during residency

It depends on the program. Some programs it doesn't matter at all, some programs the residents will get a vote. Best to find a way to speak to current or past residents and find out.

Any opinions about UCONN? Seems like 3 years to only complete 200 cases seems quite low... San Antonio for example is 400+ in 2 years.
I've heard good things about the program overall. I don't know a lot about it though.

Can you share what
I have two friends that went to UConn for other specialties and when I asked them about the program they both said that the residents in the endo program always graduated being very competent and always spoke highly of attending there. Real surface level but only good things to say about the program.

Did Iowa call yet today?
I received a call just before noon. I tried to call back but they did not answer. Depending on when it is I may have to give mine up. I'll keep you posted though. Edit - I accepted the interview spot.

I just received an invite from UNC, interviews will be conducted 27th and 28th of July

It seems Langone has sent out both interviews AND rejections. However, I haven't gotten either from them. Does that mean they are still considering applications? Or are they just moving down the list slowly lol

Hey until they say no, anything is possible

Does anyone know what the Harvard interview is like? What they ask etc

Who knows about Nebraskas program lol?

What kind of questions did you have at the interview everyone?

Are there any international applicants who have been invited for an interview? I ask with a heavy heart.
You mean applying straight without a DDS/DMD from America or international with advanced standing training here?

anyone heard from buffalo program ?
when they will send invitations? I heard invitations going to be in July for this year.
