So hypothetically the knife could pass around, allowing someone to kill someone and then be (potentially) converted...

I wonder though, if someone did happen to kill Rumple with the knife and then became the dark one themselves, wouldn't the name on the knife change then? Wouldn't it reflect their name? That is, if the knife were still kept in the game afterwards.

I received Rumpelstiltskin knife at the beginning of this day. I tried to use it to make Rumple reveal a wolf to me, because in the show if you have the knife you control Rumple, but mod gods said it has to be used on someone. So I was thinking it has to be used on Gold/Rumple? Wonder if that would convert the person into a wolf though?

I would think along the same lines with the knife that maybe it only affects Rumplestiltskin - but I have only watched through episode 11, so not sure if any of that changes.....

As far as I have seen, Gold only really cares/loves one thing: magic/power. In my mind, he would be a chaos character... leaning towards wolf. He doesn't help the town to help the town (again, as far as I have gotten) he helps the town for his own selfish reasons.

Regina turns into the evil queen and gold into rumple aka the dark one. Being rumple there is no doubt he is a wolf, but when he is Gold it is questionable.

Good reasoning. But if there was "lots of searching" it makes it sound like there are a lot of pairs that have to connect and there might be some that don't connect until much later, which would stall people actually becoming wolves which seems like it has the potential to drag the game out reeeeally long.

But in the show it takes Emma and Henry to break the curse, maybe that is all it takes in the game.

I will be heading to bed soon, please don't lynch me. It will be a great disservice to the villagers if you do. Since apparently we are getting to the someone is going to be lynched with such few votes here early on.

If needed, I can give a hint to my role, but I would rather not.

LIS, I advise you don't lynch me. I also think that this lynching based on "grudges" is just as bad, if not worse than the RNG. At least with the RNG people were getting some talking and discussion going but there it is just a bunch of single votes for a large number of people, which sucks.

I agree with TRH that this would draw the game out a lot. Also even with the curse Regina knew who she was. She created the curse and remembered who everyone was and was still evil. I think Regina would still be a wolf currently even if the curse is intact. This refers more to season 1 Regina because she's not so bad in the first half of season 2.

Right after the curse is enacted Regina visits Gold and asks him about the deal they made but he doesn't seem to remember it. aThis is in season 2 when Regina tries to get the little boy and dad to stay with her.

By the way, my character name rhymes with my last name (in real life)... I am sure there are those of you in this game that can figure this out.

My guess would be that characters who aren't mentioned a lot in Storybrooke have their fairytale name. More major characters with arcs in both worlds were probably given both names.

I think there's 3 types for names:
1. Just Fairytale - cuz they're not cursed (Aurora and Mulan)
2. Just Storybrooke - they weren't ever a part of Fairytale (Henry, Greg, Tamara... Emma is an exception)
3. Both Storybrooke and Fairytale

If we truly, truly weren't going to RNG, the only logical vote is to lynch SOV because he's the only person in the game with even a smidgen of evidence against them. But we're not, which means we're basically just RNG'ing.

So call this my vote of defiance.

(I'm not saying we should lynch SOV. I'm just saying that anything else is functionally RNG.)
