II today as well, nontrad paramedic for 20 years, OOS from Colorado, but went to school in Anchorage in the 90s. MCAT 27, 3.2 s/c GPA.
 
another question..for those who have submitted their secondaries, when you guys uploaded the essay file, did you put the prompt and your name on the actual essay? Or just on the file name?

I emailed them about this in particular because I worried my essay may be lost without some way to identify it. They assured me that the file remains linked to your secondary and thus there is no need to title or ID it in any way. Hope this helps!

All of us salty dawgs tired of pushing poods around want a change, maybe we make good docs because we already can talk to patients. Or we could just be over confident and they want to make us realize how little we know. Actually I think that we are good team players and are not afraid, and all the docs I know that were previous paramedics are awesome docs that are great teachers.
 
No I know, I try not to drink the swill after working in a coffee store in the grunge decade. Red bull though is my go to for those nights we have all too often.
 
So I have another question regarding PNWU's secondary. Under academics, it says, "please tell us the size of your high school graduating class", but then under sub-categories of period and program, it says "2015 Fall/Main" and "Professional/Doctor, Osteopathic/Osteopathic Medicine"???? I am confused 🙁

Complete email today. OOS Non-trad. Also have some EMS experience. Hoping for some good vibes!!
 
So..... I submitted my secondary, paid, then accidentally closed the window before uploading my essay. OOPS! Anybody know how I go about submitting now? I have no idea how to get back to that window now.

I think you can email Hope Ennis who sent the secondary and ask her.
 
Got an II here! Officially complete 22nd. Received it on the 27th, but no dates are available to schedule yet.

Hey guys mine just switched from committee to interview, does this mean I will be getting an interview? Also when do they approx contact you after switching from committee to interview? Thanks!

Sorry I didnt mean today (September 1st) it said Interview (8/29/2014) I checked today and saw that.

I asked the same thing last week and receive an email from them a few days after stating I have been invited!

Mine changed to interview today as well! I'm super pumped. Does anyone know what the interview dates are? I probably won't get the email for another few days and I'm curious as to when I should be planning to take off.

For me it took a couple weeks. I think that was partially because I submitted my essays before they were processing secondaries due to getting their MS1s in for the year. Unless they are super backed up, I think you should get one relatively quickly.
 
Status just changed to interview! I'm thrilled, especially since the school is fairly close to my home in Idaho. Thanks to AlteredScale and others who shared their timeline so the rest of us know more what to expect.

Anyone receive this email after status changed to "pending"?

If you have received this that means we have received your supplemental application.

**IMPORTANT Information: There is a large volume of applications coming in. I DO NOT attach your letters of recommendation until I am able to work on your file. Please know that doesn’t mean we do not have them. It may simply mean I haven’t attached them. Yep! Means they have everything or they are working on everything.

Ok. Answering my own question...just got the complete email. So how long do you guys think it takes for the decision column to change
from here on? 3-4 weeks as stated in the email?

It took them a few days before they came to a decision for mine and I received an ii one week after I was complete.
 
I didn't ever catch my status as "pending". Mine was "committee" for about a week and a half maybe 2 weeks, then it changed to "interview" and then it took 3 days to get my official interview invite email.
