I understand it's a very daunting process with this being my second cycle and only interview. I was also taken off the waitlist right when I started putting together my app for next cycle. So your worry resonates with me deeply, but I told myself that no matter what happened this year I would be confident that the person I am and the qualities I have would eventually lead me where I wanna be. It just so happened that my "eventually" was now. While I hope the same for you, I know too that with the dedication and want and drive you have to get in, it will certainly happen one way or another! Stay true to what you're passionate about, and if you ever need any of the encouragement right back that you offer to all of us, I and so many others are willing to do so

Yeah I'm kinda resigned at this point. Whatever happens will happen.

Wait...You were waitlisted? I thought you were delayed. I didn't even think the WL was moving. I tried to email admissions about WL movement and they pretty much ghosted me.
 
Soon the deposit will be due immediately as they work to fill the class as soon as possible after anyone withdraws. Prepare to put the full deposit down as soon as the portal changes.

Does anyone know when the committee will be meeting again since decision day for DO programs was last week? Do you think it will be early this week and would find out by later in the week?

Good question. DO commencement is May 24th not sure what role that plays in the committee meeting but something to keep in mind.
 
Nothing over here. @underqualified_applicant received an offer on Tuesday so at least we know the waitlist is moving 😕

I’m not ready to think about a third cycle yet because it depresses me but I've been looking at MCAT dates because that's def the weakest part of my app. I have yet to conquer that exam.

Nope, but just found out that PCOM only takes MCATs for 2 years at the oldest, so looks like I won't be reapplying here this year 🙁

MCAT scores can be three years old so nothing earlier than August 2017 will be accepted

Yup! Quite unfortunate considering every other school I'm applying to takes MCATs from August 2016-January 2017 as their oldest
 
Is it right to assume at this point that the class is full and waitlist movement is not happening unless someone drops their acceptance?

I don’t think there has been any movement from the waitlist to be honest... unless they accepted people who aren’t on here
 
Nope. At this point I think the only chance of moves will be day of orientation. Since it mandatory orientation, I've heard stories of people getting calls day of to show up. Im assuming that means if you live in Philly, you may still have the slightest chance but who knows. Probably not happening.

Probably not worth updating anymore, but got a letter by snail mail from PCOM as an r.
