Ok I am from Buffalo, NY so consider that I get in state tuition (~18k) for SUNY schools. I went to undergrad in Southern California and fell in love with the weather and the constant bustle of things to do outdoors. I am having a really tough time weighing price versus quality of life. I have friends at SUNY Buffalo who love it but I also am weary of committing four years to place that has lost its novelty for me. Tulane seems great because there is such a demand for young professionals and students in NOLA and I fell in love with the city. The student body at Loyola was unlike any other school I was accepted into which is surprising b/c they are not P/F. While I had that gut feeling at Loyola, its seclusion from the actual city of Chicago worries me as does the cold windy winters. I am holding onto waitlists at BU, USC, and MT Sinai and would definitely go to any of those 3 over my acceptances so I am tempted to keep SUNY b/c of the cost and not having to sign a lease right away (I live here now) and hope I get off a waitlist but it is a risky move.
