@kcoughli - please explain.

I also know Kcough's supposed role and it was actually "proved" the other day, and to me it doesn't seem like a wolfy role (weirder things have happened, I know), so I would like to hear from her before we close this lynch.
 
Her ability is a copying ability. Verified because she used it on me and I can confirm that my same ability was used twice on a particular night. If she can copy why wouldn't she just copy the killing ability so there could be double wolf kills every night?

Bandwagon day. Fun times.

In my boredom I went back through my PMs. Turns out the last time I was a wolf before Infiltrated was June of last year (as a convert in Hunger Games). And the last time I was an original was actually in The Dark Side, October 2014.

No wonder @Trilt said I always screamed villager 😉

Makes me think of Mr. Mime, there was some suggestion that humanoid pokemon are also in this WW game.

If I could lynch currently, I'd be lynching kcough.

However I'm going to point this comment out because this makes you my lynch for tomorrow. The only reason anyone cares how information was obtained is if that person is a wolf trying to figure out how to remove the information source.
 
Looking up Pokemon with a copying ability in the first 200:
Mr Mime 122 and 3 others can use Copycat after leveling up.
Marill 183 can use it after breeding.

Or

Ditto 132 copies looks and ability with an Imposter ability.

Fair enough on the strategy. I was just genuinely curious, though I see it could read otherwise. I communicate with a lot of players. And while I haven't role revealed yet, I'm prepared to.

This information is incorrect. FFS I barely got my night action in last night and I literally get to school with a zillion alerts (okay, exaggeration) all saying my people (and probably some wolves) want to kill me.

I've never been leading lynch votes as a villager before... this should be interesting.

@Kam325 you either have incorrect information or you're a wolf with a death wish because if I get lynched (as a villager), well, you're most likely going down tomorrow.

While heading home, someone scratched you to all hell - you've been injured! Until healed, you cannot vote in lynches.
I assumed this meant Lupin was a person, since I doubt Ditto can mimic a person. With all the talk of Team Rocket being evil people, I filed that info away.

N2 I picked BSC, cuz you know should try to find out what my PM buddies can do. Result: Someone stopped by and bandaged you up nicely - you're completely healed!
You bend and twist, and suddenly find yourself able to sing for someone nightly! You've received an item! Thunder Stone: One of several evolutionary stones, this can be used to help certain Pokemon evolve!

I subsequently sent BSC the Thunderstone, figuring she might be able to use it since I knew I don't evolve.
N3 I picked Hmoo to mimic, same reasons as BSC. Result: You try your best, but unfortunately can't seem to bend to Hmoo's shape.
I also picked Lupin to "sing to" for the aforementioned reasons on N1 (suspected people of being bad people and I thought sing could block their night action. Still never received clarification on this from anyone). I also know that MJ was sung to this night from BSC which made BSC confused until I told her that I copied her ability.

N4 I picked MJ due to my usual suspicion of him and conversation with BSC. Result: You swirl and expand... you find yourself able to **** Sorry MJ.

I also have the Pokedex but I'll push the button now so if you all make the mistake of lynching me hopefully it will remain in play. Assuming it actually does something.

Yep. Sorry. I hesitated on sharing but you know what? I'm probably going to die and at least the village will know everything I did when they take me down. Plus you just verified my ability claim so... *shrug*.

Uh, you could have just said "MJ's ability does *something vague*" Throwing a useful villager under the bus to keep yourself alive is never a good thing to do- the point of the game is for the village to win, not to stay alive. Now you're probably going to die AND I'm probably going to die. Wtf.

Of course you care, because it implicates you. You can care as much as you want. There is NO reason for rocky to care.

Info is info, we have to figure out if the info is accurate or not. If it isn't then we scrutinize the info. We don't scrutinize and then destroy possible info because someone whines that it is wrong.

I'm keeping my vote for now. Something just feels off about this whole ordeal and disclosing info to everyone on MJ like that is kinda crappy. Hazelmoo brings up a good possibility, too.

I'm definitely open to switching, but I'd like to hear a little bit more from both sides.

Sorry. Like I said, I've never been a villager winning the lynch tally before. And honestly your ability isn't the most useful ability out there.

The side you're missing is @Kam325 . Who gave me flashbacks of me, as a wolf, popping on to drop "SOV killed Lupin", even though that info was actually accurate vs. this is just a dirty lie. I haven't mimicked anyone who has a killing ability, and doubt I even could.

I disapprove of this info dump, completely unnecessary. Reminds me a lot of MJ's info dump last game.

I think Kcough's ability is more of a liability to the villagers than an asset now that it is widely known. Good conversion target to get double wolf kills if they haven't been happening already (the unmarked kills sound a lot like poison to me ekans and koffing are both Pokemon associated with Team rocket that are poison types)

She asked me what I thought of Lupin yesterday (I said I had reason to believe Lupin was good) and then Lupin dies today.

Not an original wolf, but possibly a convert.

It's actually better that you didn't, because that makes me look more important than I am and bumps me even higher up the kill list.

I can see the night results of recently deceased players, which is only useful if they had useful results.

And I'd really love if someone could heal me btw.

Really? I jump in, stick my neck out for you the other day getting people to drop their lynch votes on you, and you backstab me? That's harsh man. I didn't do anything to Lupin other than sing to her with your ability, which admittedly if it doesn't even block night actions is even less useful than my own.

I'm pretty sure I only mimic Pokemon abilities and I doubt any poke left has a killing ability (it sounds like Miltank may have but since they're gone...). I don't think I'd be able to mimic an inherent wolf ability. Plus if I gave the wolves double kills, why haven't there been any if you think I'm a wolf?

Also I got scratched on the first night, if we think Meowth is responsible for that why would I be scratched if you all thought I was a wolf??

This is super frustrating actually telling the truth and going nowhere.

When you all kill me and find out I'm a villager, I'm expecting adorable apology gifs. Also Kam's head on a plate.

Oh yeah, my ability is definitely lame, not as bothered with mine as with the outing of MJ. Would have appreciated a PM saying hey, I'm gonna info dump at least.

I also said I didn't believe you to be an original wolf, but that conversion was potential.

Me and Ashgirl both defended you prior to the info dump, so we were willing to stick our necks out too.

I checked the main thread first, got frustrated, and went all out. If I died and kept that info to myself, or only entrusted it to you or hmoo and you were a wolf, the info helps no one but the wolves. If I die this way at least the villagers also have the info. And again, I didn't out a seer or a tracker or anyone with a super awesometastic ability.
 
I don't think kcough did anything that someone else wouldn't do who was about to be lynched. Did you guys expect her to keep info to herself instead of coming out with EVERYTHING they know before they possibly die? MJ, I don't know why you're so worried about being killed. Your ability isn't that important, unless I'm missing something. Kcough has given me enough reason not to lynch them.

A few games ago, someone mentioned that just because someone got a message saying something about someone doesn't make it at all true and that the bearer of the info should be harshly questioned. What if Kam is the wolf and pulled that out of her a** to try and get an innocent villager killed? Or what if the info came from a wolf?

Not cool revealing mj's ability on thread. But I'm also confused. How are MJ and I both asleep today? I thought kcough used the ability on Lupin yesterday, so only bsc could use it last night? I don't really need a solid answer to this, just pointing out that I think it's weird.

MJ was put to sleep yesterday (N3), same night as Lupin (at least according to what I've been told). He never came out with it on the thread yesterday, but as was postulated earlier it may take a few days to naturally wake up if not healed.

I'm not asleep, I'm injured. And, like DVMD, I'm injured until healed. Unlike her, I can no longer PM.

This is the issue with the noobs. Seriously.

1. It is early in the game, a wolf would have to be an idiot to throw a villager under the bus at this point. Not that it can't happen, but it is very, very, very rare.
2. You do NOT attack the person coming forward with information. You can doubt it some if you want, but you don't spin it around and start tossing suspicion on to the player posting info.
3. You need to TEST information provided. The info is that kcough was seen killing Lupin. That information needs to be investigated/figured out. The easiest way is by lynching kcough/
4. If the information turns out to be incorrect after the lynch, then we start to heavily question the source of the information. But we do NOT question the info source first and then do something REALLY stupid like the person above lynching Kam... FFS, you do NOT lynch a possible information source unless you have VERIFIED information that they are lying/wrong.

Come on, noobs, get it together.
 
Okay but seriously I'm shutting up now. If people have specific questions I'm more than happy to answer. Yes I may have flubbed by "outing" abilities, but honestly I really don't think they're that great of abilities.

@Mad Jack - are you sure you're injured? Not being able to PM I thought was due to being put to sleep by the sing ability... and I was told that happened to you N3

I accidentally posted a message in a PM and apologized profusely and was told:

"No worries. You need to get yourself healed or wait it out, though."

So I guess don't heal me, I should wake up eventually.

Goes to show how much I'm paying attention this game lol

Lol. Or, instead of lynching a villager, we could process the information BEFORE the lynch and then actually lynch a wolf. I've been PMing with kcough, and I believe her. Not saying it could be lies, but I don't think it is.

If I had time to go back through the games and find the exact situation I'm thinking of, where a VETERAN exclaimed that the source of the info should never be trusted and shouldn't be blindly followed, I would.

Dunno, what was the role that was threatened during lynch in that game? It could be dependent on the situation and role being threatened. Copying is neat, but it's not rezzing, protecting, or seering, three of the most important roles. Kcough is awesome and while I'm still intrigued to know where Kam's info came from, I now realize that's an unspoken task for a later date in the game if kcough isn't wolfy since the role threatened isn't as important as the aforementioned ones. My vote is staying put for now.
