At this point I don’t think it matters much. It’s so split with less than a hour to go he’s gonna be mayor. We just gonna make sure we pay attention to what he does.
I’m just acting like this is an intense prolonged game of Among Us.

I know it exists but don’t know anything else about among us. Although by the name maybe it’s another hidden identity game?

and yes it’s probably futile with less than an hour left until the result is final, unless everyone else is logged in which I doubt.

yeah sloth didn't have a majority (or even many votes at all?) until people started switching away from mayo, if it was a wolf power grab i would have expected at least a couple more votes for sloth right off the bat. but it could always just be a well executed sneaky grab. still sticking sloth for now

I think a lot of us noobs are also taking it easy day one to see how the first night pans out (assuming we don't die lol), which should give us a lot more clues than we have for this mayor vote

Haha love this. The strategy is definitely similar, it’s hard especially today, to prove alliance, but as others have said I wasn’t the initial choice, everyone is entitled to their own strategy and opinion that’s why makes this game fun!!

I'm not sure about anything but I don't think it is inherently suspicious. Sloth wasn't even on the ballot for a while until everyone wanted to push their vote onto someone who didn't have kids/had more time. Sloth just happened to be the first who fit the criteria.

Tweety flitted around Batman's head as he scowled at the cartoons. "Why the long face, friend?" Batman looked at the little yellow bird briefly, sighed, then turned back to the crowd.

"It is useless. This election. We are wasting time. "

"Oh I don't know, I think it's kind of nice! You know someone really should be in charge around here!"

Batman's stare grew harder. The last words that kaydubs had said to him echoed in his head. You have to save them from themselves. Well, he was pretty sure he was already failing at that.

Meanwhile the vote went on, largely aimless and chaotic, frontrunners rising and falling with no apparent method to the madness. But, underneath it all, was a greater plot in play? Only time would tell. The cartoons settled after many hours of debate and decidedly un-cartoonish literary references. In the late hours, a fresh face emerged, energetic and ready for the challenges of leadership.

They had chosen.

Night 1

After the day's long discussion regarding mayor, many cartoons were quick to flee to their hotel rooms, with plans of room service and raiding the mini-fridge at the forefront of their thoughts. Others headed to the *open!* bar (in honor of PhiloslothicalStudent's victory) to celebrate with their beverage of choice.

Many interesting sights and characters could be seen traipsing through the halls of the hotel despite previous claims of everyone staying in their respective rooms with "Do Not Disturb" signs displayed.

When the guests gathered for the continental breakfast the next morning, they quickly realized some appeared to be missing. Had they slept in? Abandoned this conference?

Bugs Bunny, wearing both a black robe resemblant of a judge and a crown, strode to the front of the murmuring crowd. "Stop the noise! I know what's going on! Those missing are DEAD!!!"

Hesitant to believe his words (whoever actually believed the Loony Toon crew!?), some quickly went to verify the truth for themselves.

Sadly....the bunny had spoken the truth.

Dead is @sheepcowdoghorse23 , Scrooge McDuck, humble vanillager. It appeared as if the body suffered many blows, resulting in death by blunt force trauma.

Also dead is @JHon1 , Inspector Gadget, a villager capable of distributing gifts (though unaware of the purposes because of being ever forgetful). The corpse was riddled with bullet holes.

Demands for justice and vengeance were voiced in growing volume. Hadn't they had enough death? Who was responsible?

Wait. Bugs Bunny was signaling for quiet. "All right. Say that louder for everyone to hear."

The speaker could not be seen but their message was heard after being supplied with a megaphone. "I am confident sunshinefl is not who she claims!"

One heck of a mic drop.

I suspect it's too early for anyone to openly declare their role/knowledge, but I would be interested to know other's thoughts on that

The immediate thought is that we've got a very sunny wolf in our midst, but it could also be an interesting twist that sunshine is some non-wolf special role. Or it's all a ruse and sunshine is just a normal villager. I need to hear more about what others have to say before i feel confident leaning towards any of those options.
