Sorry I was eating some food, but I just finished reading up until this post. All of the fact based stuff made complete sense. And I don’t have much to add on seer/protector discussion. Except that I read what both you and AM said

Yeah, I am slightly agreeing with what Pip put up about skim both the giving and subtracting of village points. My first thought is why would skim visit coffee as a wolf and coffee not be dead? But you know maybe I’m missing something completely obvious.

Well, in the scenario Pippy's proposing, she wouldn't have done the kill and instead just ability seered Coffee.

Yep yep. And since a wolf action can typically be done independent of a kill, in my mind it can be thought of as an additional layer of coin flips. Which makes me further lower the likelihood of Jil being wolfy, at least somewhat.*


*I don't know that I would weight it as a fully separate event, but that probably gets too far into the WIFOM maze in my brain to be that useful

Ohhhhh gotcha, well then never mind then I don’t see a way skim is village. I know she did come on and post that she didn’t want to reveal so if she was PR village, keeping it close to the vest as long as possible. But my feels are not leaning me towards that scenario.

If wolf (which is a condition for this scenario, given that we are discussing the visit in terms of the likelihood of wolf PR action+kill or PR action only), she would have to be an ability seer.

Or she is not wolf.

Lol wow ignore me, there is definitely a way to be village 😵 but to be clear going off of feels I feel she could be a wolf. But my brain was not working

What is the likelihood of interacting with a given player
What is the likelihood of interacting twice during the same visit

Although now that I am typing that out, it would have to be a special breed of wolf to ability seer a player that you're simultaneously killing


...I should maybe put a general disclaimer in all of these probability-themed posts that beyond the initial role set math I laid out, I do not actually sit here and calculate odds lol

Some other time, we can chat about how my brain processes information. It is simultaneously very "math-y" while also being atrociously bad at basic math. Ask me about some of my mnemonics sometime -- I frequently use grids/equations/patterns/weird stuff.

I'm not looking to you for guidance, but most of your skim mentions yesterday were with your back-and-forth with coffee. You said that skim saying her joke on d1 was "serious" was good enough for you. So I am just trying to re-evaluate how I feel about some of you at this point.
 
Ugh, F*&% you pip for pretty much forcing my hand on this. Please note that I'm vehemently against this mass reveal for many reasons, and I always will be. So, I'm your protector. I protected coffee n1 because I felt bad about my salty vote and I was hoping to extend an olive branch of sorts. It wasn't until yesterday morning that I realized she probably never got notified of that protection based on the last game. I protected AM last night since she's the only one I've had in my strong village category.

So just to be clear here, you are claiming you have a role? Therefore you are saying there are definitely 3 total power roles?

Or are you saying she is claiming your role
