Just a general disclaimer re: the Snowy situation: I have trouble evaluating Snowy. Last time she was a wolf I defended her as sounding village. So maybe you are actually right. But...meh. Hard to overcome biases.
Missed this entirely, probably would have still lynched him for being off-theme haha (although I love Gambit. and the X-men).

Just to clarify why I was ok with that tie: I like to protest ties when I think they are not worth the extra information gain. It is sometimes ok -- even beneficial -- to have a tie. In a game where we lynched a wolf D1 and where both candidates on the board were decent info options (in my opinion), then ties are a-ok. 👍
I still agree with this, btw. It's why I had dubz in that initial list that included AM. It was like dubz was coming in as the clean-up crew.
I feel like today you're pushing AM as wolf, and yesterday you were like "oh I don't like this super sketchy looking thing she did, but I think it was actually more of a village looking thing." I realize opinions can change, but I'm just noting the progression because clearly I am struggling to keep track of things this game.

You like to make these statements suggesting that no one except a select few are able to follow what you perceive to be these complex, elevated problem solving trajectories. Newsflash #2: smart people play this game. You are not magically 3 steps ahead of everyone else like you so often seem to believe. And I don't like my information being flagrantly tossed around in order for you to further your superiority complex.
Probably Allie or Jil. But I would probably feel better about lynching allie if WZ turns up wolf. I also would like to look more into LIS as he hasn't been in anybodys suspicions yet which worries me slightly. Sporty is hard to follow - feels like she's all over the place, but could just be village indecisiveness. Since she's the mayor, I'd feel more comfortable lynching her later in the game if people still think she's sketchy then. Mel is staying neutral because I can understand his flow of logic and it makes sense, but cray and her wild theories completely tricked me to putting her village last game when she was a wolf. And now he's just pulling an stl move and I haven't decided what to think of it yet.
vmh was next to me, so if pms ever opened I would be able to talk to her, so I wanted to see if I thought I could trust her and mel was leaning more village to me from the day then she was. Wz is always hard for me to read and plays a pretty good wolf which is why I chose her D2.
So sorry about talking about irl stuff, but I won't be active much today. I have staff meeting soon and then my first solo shift at my new job, so I should get on the last hour before lynch because that's my lunch break, but the rest of the day I won't have my phone on me. I would like to see a list of suspicions from Jil - actually just more thoughts from her in general. Also would like to hear from MJ now that he's active. I don't know if kdubs would make him a wolf if he wasn't active the first few days, but since the late added player was village there is a better chance MJ would be a wolf. I am curious about AM's suspicions as she has mostly been asking questions, but I don't remember her stating her thoughts on people much (though I haven't looked back and got to leave soon so I might be wrong). Though I think a last minute tie break on two villagers is not something a wolf would ever do, but I could see chaos trying that.

LIS staying out of the main action is odd, and then popping in two minutes after lynch to call me sketchy when it seemed like he wasn't quite caught up on what was going on...hmm. I could see the first part being because he was busy/just wasn't around but he was real quick to jump on the lynch dubz train without even acknowledging that I had given a reason for my switch.

I saw this on reread and realized I also missed it, but I don't think it would have changed anything. I already didn't really think he was a wolf but was too late in the day to change much, and I think soon after that was when it came out that snowy had been the one who stole my ability.
Working on it currently. Can you also tell me a little more about what particularly is pinging you as "less insightful"?
I'm gonna be honest, you've been telegraphing what I think is your role ability pretty hard for like 2 days now. Also, saying things like the bolded make you a great wolf kill target, especially given that we are currently sans protector in this game.
As an aside, I have pippy on a pretty decent village lean right now. Her freaking out on thread is very reminiscent to me of the first few times we played WW together and she always sets off my wolf bells when she's village but not so much when she's a wolf.

Snowy revealed to me at 7:50, I asked for some clarification and she replied back at around 7:54ish, and I think I outed her on thread right around then because it didn't feel right to me and time was ticking down on the lynch.
I'm in the superior timezone (MST) by the way, so lynch close would have been at 8 PM.

I will also add that snowy told me her role name 2 minutes before lynch but I don't know how I feel about it. Googling wasn't overly helpful for me in learning more about it and I didn't play much Sega as a kid.
I don't know how much I can really quantify it. It's more that you have been kind of generally absent (typical for you, so that's not concerning), but when you have shown up, I just haven't felt like you've been as sharp with going after people as you usually are. I also feel like you are very blatantly village when you are village (because despite your frequent protests to the contrary, you're an excellent villager). Idk, basically I'm on the fence with you right now and that is concerning to me in and of itself. This kind of post is maybe a little better?

So not until long after the original deadline. I am really suspicious of why she didn't make more of an attempt to defend if she didn't know she was going to avoid the lynch.

I've just been chronically behind on thread this game, frankly. I finally got through a sort of iso read through of the players last night and wrote some thoughts down on a spreadsheet, but I had to cut it short when lynch deadline got too close so it's not as thorough as I'd like. I also kind of hate the massive reads lists that people post so I don't usually share my own unless I have very strong feelings that someone is wolfy, but this game has been frustrating because almost everyone is reading as lukewarm at best to me. Now that I'm on my lunch I'm currently working on re-revising my list with some things I've been mulling over.
If you want, I can switch from Cheezy to MiniSuperSpy.
I had been thinking about that too but I'm not sure if she was just busy with IRL stuff until later and hadn't been checking the lynch or what (I usually try not to read too much into this sort of stuff).

No, there isn't a rule, but I'm actually used to you moving your vote to somewhere more useful most of the time. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but I thought I recalled you moving your vote off of your main candidate (ceke a couple games ago comes to mind) if it wasn't gaining any traction.
I did give a reason for my switch. Just because you showed up 2 minutes after lynch close and hadn't read it doesn't mean it didn't exist.
Like I said, there's not much else to get out of that vote without knowing some more info. I compiled it for now but I'm hoping it will be more useful later - for me or whoever is alive later. If someone can get good info out of it right now, kudos to them, but it's probably a lot of conjecture.

It's true, I have played it both ways (moving my vote to be more 'in play', or also leaving it where it sits). I dunno why I do one one time or another a different time. *shrug* Probably just whether or not I have enough investment in one lynch candidate or the other. And whether I've really analyzed the comments leading up to the vote. And moon phase. *shrug* I think if you start digging that deep into meta you're probably going too far, but that's just an opinion.

I still think that at the moment, I'm content to vote for someone who has lynch avoidance - especially given that you were kinda vague about it. (Yes, I read your comments indicating you were confused about your role ability; I'm not sure if I believe that or not.) It's <more often> a wolf ability, but yes, lynch avoidance can be village. And kill avoidance definitely can be village. But we don't really know that you have kill avoidance - we just have your word on that. We do know that you had, at least, lynch avoidance.

I know that kaydubs likes to put in supremely sketchy villager abilities into her games. I remember one of the first games I ever played in was a kaydubs game and I was a villager who couldn't be night killed. It was sketchy as hell and I got lynched for it. I think she does it to encourage more discussion about a player up for lynch than just "that ability is ALWAYS wolfy". Don't get me wrong, I would love the information from a snowy lynch right now, and could be easily swayed into it, but my gut is telling me that dubz may be a better person to check out right now.

Just something I noted, dude. I haven't compiled all of my thoughts into real reads yet, I'm certainly not voting for you at the moment. It was just a data point (maybe one and a half).
I wasn't really digging that deep into meta at all, just recalled from the most recent games I've played with you as village. Recency bias maybe? I could see that.
I also don't really see that there is much to do right now but look for small details. Or lynching people based on their ability. Which is fine, but if you're going to be stubborn about that I'm not sure anything I say now matters anyway. Yes, I had a lynch (technically general death) avoidance. Yup, that's more often wolfy. In this case, it's not. That's all I can say about the ability. I would hope you would look at more than that alone.
And I don't think I was vague about it. My first comment was that if snowy had stolen it, we wouldn't be able to lynch her. That's pretty specific. I backtracked a bit after rereading but if I was intending to be vague I probably would have started out that way. Do you see why it wouldn't make sense for me to have made that later comment if I already knew for sure that she was going to avoid the lynch?

I have a question about this that I want to toss out to the village: do you think the PMing ban included the wolf PM? They obviously were punished alongside village since night was skipped (so they lost out on a wolf kill) so I wouldn't be surprised if they lost out on the wolf PM at least temporarily as well. Makes me wonder if it may impact how some of our wolves may be posting today if there is a lack of chatter between them. Some people don't do well without the wolf pack to lean back on.
