Why Mel? I actually kind of felt okay about what I've been seeing on that end, but I feel like I can't really read Mel very well.

Looking back, I'm also a little skeeved out by Cyndia popping in as soon as WZ lynched her, made an excuse about being hungover (even if it's true), and then literally not posting anything else. She could just be busy, but I want to keep an eye on that if she doesn't come back with substance.

I checked in this morning, saw all the likes on the drunken post I didn't remember making, and figured I should explain myself since it definitely was an out of character post for me.

And yes, today turned into an insane day thanks to more than double the number of trapped ferals showing up on an already overbooked surgery day, and someone leaving a pop-off valve closed on a dog which set our whole morning back. I'm beat so not going to be able to give you much tonight, but I'll be more chatty tomorrow night.

Yeah I know... One of the techs was leak testing bags in the morning and forgot to take open it afterwards/recheck when hooking up the first dog of the day since we were rushing due to the huge amount of animals. Thankfully the dog ended up just fine!

Eh. **** happens. Thing about surgical procedures on machines with pop-off valves is that thousands of them happen every single day. Sooner or later "process" gets broken and one gets left closed. My mentor had it happen once - she wasn't in the room. CVT was monitoring the patient and closed the pop-off valve to give a breath ... and then hell broke loose outside the room ... she got distracted by it and left the room ... came back to a dead patient. Obviously the tech should never have left the patient, but ... humans are humans, and they make human mistakes. We're really very good at creating accident chains one little broken link at a time.

(Just one reason I'm a fan of the pop-off occlusion valves that you press to stop airflow, and release to open it again - can't get stuck closed, in theory.)

After a brief funeral for Pulseman, the players seemed hesitant about whom among them could be murderous. Several fingers were pointed until a bandwagon gradually formed. Was it her comment that she was doing villager things last night? Or "howlin'" that made her fur really stand out to everyone? After some debate, LIS managed to steal her hammer and everyone proceeded to take turns pummeling her with it.

Dead is @britzen - Shao Kahn (WOLF). Her primary goal was to seek out Liu Kang. If she had succeeded in killing him, she could've gotten something extra. Alas.

Well done, players. One boss battle under your belts. It is Night 2. PM deadline is ~7am Eastern.

This amuses me, because it really wasn't much info to go off of in the first place. I used a flamethrower to illuminate what britz was doing last night, and all I got was she was walking toward Crayola. Kaydubs cut off the video before the money shot. Could have been explained away if Britz hadn't had such a guilty conscience.

I feel like this happens every game, whoever talks early and is excited to play gets offed right away because all the curmudgeons get bent out of shape. This is only game #3 for me and I feel like it's the same thing on repeat with crayola and snowy and paws and on and on. Not sure why I'd paint a giant target on my face D1 in that way if I were trying to slip under the radar.

I realize facetiousness doesn't always translate on the internet, but if you think that 20 questions nonsense was anything other than a joke I'm not sure what to say.

This post makes me laugh because the biggest curmudgeons hadn't even posted by this point.

This whole above bolded thing is WIFOM. And I don't think you were hunting for role info, I think you were questioning what her "feels" were to determine if there was a way to change the lynch direction. That is how it read as I was reading through. Not going to go back and forth on this, especially tonight. I still have 8 client charts to write up as I am sitting at home. Yippee! Being a vet is great! (*sarcasm*)
