i guess i should clairfy. its not that i dont see him as wolfy. its more wolf..??Zenge instead of a wolf!zenge feel. also still curious why he chose seer. i still stand by the thought that seer is important to village and its disadvantageous to out himself if that is his role. pulling this quote from him about wolves claiming seer:

why point this out? this is really the only thing that stuck out to me since the original post @Animal Midwife, everything else seems like just chit-chat to me

Why wouldn't a villager be happy? He outed himself, and now the wolves will kill him, and the village will lose the seer.
Why wolves would be happy? They can take out the seer N1 before he gets to seer anybody.
I haven't played a lot of games where there was a seer, but my intuition tells me that keeping the seer in the shadows is pro-village.

Yes, it’s a copypasta. If you google phrases of it you’ll see it’s been posted on pretty much every forum WW site on the interwebs. Never SDN tho. It was open real estate.

I’ve been holding that copypasta for months, a quarter of a year, waiting for the right opportunity to post it. Now seemed like the best opportunity.

I wouldn’t really say it was a distraction. Peoples reactions have been very valuable for information.

I definitely agree that she’s been expressive. But I don’t recall her freaking out quite that much whenever people have pushed her in the past. So I thought it could possibly be an overreacting wolf getting defensive since this would be her first wolf outing.

Go read my most recent game pls. Completely changing my response to receiving an actual vote-- not sus, a vote-- and you can see I was pretty sarcastic to Pleasey too when she voted me. But I mean, you argued all about this with me in Bowwling 🙃 Somehow I was wolfy if I talked about how other people were reading me wolfy, so I'm a wolf, but also not nearly as many people were reading me wolfy as I seemed to think (despite almost getting misyeeted) and so you... Still thought I was a wolf.

Honestly I felt that Ace's first post was really weird, for a moment after reading Zenge's post I was like "are we all role revealing now?" But this is their first game after noob game, so I guess some awkwardness is expected. I made those jokey wolfy posts before and I was a villager. Truenamer has also traditionally done that.

I feel like that is a good explanation of how I’m reading Ace as well. He’s felt pretty similar to how I felt true was in Bowwling

I don't have much to expand on. I think it would be overpowered to have a wolf pack plus cannibals. So, I think there are no wolves, only cannibals working independently (maybe three or so?). I found it a little "hmm" for Dubz to post in the sign-ups that everyone was a vanillager unless told otherwise; it seemed odd. Then for her to mention this game would be interesting, as well as saying all the SPN games have been mechanically broken in one way or another... Clearly this game isn't basics. There's something very different about it. So my tinfoil is village is trying to sniff out the cannibals.

I don't think he's a wolf. But I understand this sentiment. I haven't had the "oh, village!" Or "oh! Wolf!" Feel around him that happens in other games, and partly it's because a lot of flotsam sprung up around that one confusing post. Very obfuscating.

I really do not like that some are starting to edge into 3P hunting instead of wolf hunting on D1, though. We should be doing both. Scum hunting as a whole > tinfoils without more data. The 3P hunting threw us off in Stardeww and was part of what lost us the game.

Stoaty ily but I’m not going to go back and read the previous game rn. However, I do appreciate you giving an example of a recent game where you had a similar reaction. And I think I’ve gotten enough context from everyone talking about your genny vote D1.

In Bowwling, I definitely thought you were a wolf because of how frequently you mentioned other people reading you as wolfy. And I was wrong. I think that is very different from this game and your reaction to kds.

Because her reaction to genny was much more logical and thought out vs a kind of stream of consciousness feel that I got from kds voting her. Also genny basically never came back around to respond, so I don’t think you can really use them to compare against each other.

I’m not really sure why I voted for Zenge last night (besides being sleep-deprived) other than feeling a bit betrayed that he just used a copypasta on us for seemingly no reason and “for the memes.” But the post in general is NAI and my vote was an overreaction to feeling tricked by him.
