Okay if I am back on this thread (or in a PM) before 3pm talking I need you all to shout at me to get my shirt done. I need a note on every patient today and there are 18 of them. We are on paper chart and I have to dictate the notes so if I’m here I’m not doing that cause I have to use my phone.
Slap me.
Threaten me.
Do not let me back here.

Hell anyone with a killing potential I’m fine with dying, kill me tonight so I’ll focus for the rest of the week. Games that I wrap myself in a tinfoil blankie I get too invested

It makes me think about why they didn't go with other options. They might say why they regret it. That info goes out to the thread for players to use how they will.
Besides, isn;t the Good Place all about examining your life decisions and changing outcomes?
 
I've been on a 2 week hunt for paper records for a trial that was done a number of years ago (pre-current electronic records system) and medical records just told me that what I was looking for is in the current system even though the rest of the record isn't.

I have verified that's true.

But now I'm left to wonder why they didn't tell me that when I first emailed them asking where I could find these records since they weren't in the archives :thinkies:

I would say that my only regret right now is not having a solid decision on Clem. He's been caught lying, multiple people have said he's acting off, and yet he's still here.

I spent a good 30 seconds figuring out you probably didn't mean a criminal/civil trial.

That does sound like a terrible waste of time 🙁

To be fair, I kind of think apop was low-key OK with dying too. Apop didn't even self-prez. So the first two votes appear to have been potentially trying to die (again?) so they could meet some posthumous wincon.
 
So, not entirely sure how to legacy. I'm going to still take the framework that there is a pack (or equivalent) out there, because good/bad is the easiest way to post some sort of reads list. But whoever is still here tomorrow probably needs to give some thought to the meaning of who died overnight. Yes, ordinarily you can tie yourself in knots trying to understand an NK, and that may still be true... but if someone is trying to kill a specific set of players to fulfill a wincon that isn't simple parity with village, then maybe there is something that could be gleaned from the NK.

Scum reads for me, in no particular order, is @Clem J , @_rae_ , @genny , @CeeGee14 . I think it is unlikely that all 4 of them are scum, because many of them are also pointing fingers at each other, but I would not be surprised if there are at least 2 scum here.
-Clem is obvious; I am trying to avoid falling into the trap of tunneling on him, and to a point that @WildZoo made last night it's almost preposterous that he would make such a blunder to shoot himself in the foot and lie so blatantly if scum.
-genny: to use the term someone else used, it's like grinding gears. Maybe they're super busy. But I'm a little surprised that there hasn't been really any sort of pointed needling of her apparent POE.
-rae: I'm sort of conflicted on, and I know this is a departure from how I felt on D1. But as time has gone on, I just don't feel like there was a ton of nuance to the reads. Top reads seem to be Clem and genny, who I think are among the top two for everyone (I guess including me), and her reasoning in the reads list yesterday for all of her scum reads was some variation of "something's not right." By now I feel like we would have gotten something more substantial.
-CG: I still feel like they're mostly coasting in the background. Another person where their only scum reads seem to be Clem and genny.

Possible scum, in no particular order: @screamqueenbee , @fruitsalad
-SQB is a little all over the place still for me. May just be their style, or may be trying to push an agenda. Less likely than the 4 above to be scum, IMO, but someone to still watch.
-fruits has gotten more and more close to what I expect from V!fruits over the last 24h. Still watching but asking better pointed questions.

A category of their own: @samac and @WildZoo . They're either both town and doing a phenomenal job of trying to work through the weeds of the mechanics of this place, or one of them is scum and has pocketed the other. In the latter case, I could see a scenario where the scum player is driving a false mechanical narrative and the other person is eating it up, or the town player could be coming up with a false narrative and the scum player could be adding fuel to that narrative. V/V is possible (and maybe even probable), I think W/W extremely unlikely, but some pairing of V/W seems plausible.

Currently town in my reads, in no particular order: @Animal Midwife , @finnickthedog , @Barkley13 , @kitzsuna . I have seen nothing in particular from these players to raise a red flag for me (with the slight exception of kitzsuna who I brought up yesterday briefly, but ultimately not enough to worry me yet). This group also is exclusively players who I have literally no experience playing with, which is moderately concerning... but I can't concoct a read that I don't have, even if I think this doesn't look ideal for me.

Lastly, for whoever is doing the NKs out there, wrong show but accurate:
