I'm just gettin my vote in, I'm open to discussion and such. The writeup seems legit to me for several reasons though and well, lyra is one of my top suspects anyway.

If people want to sit on this for a day and lynch trilt instead I'm cool with that too 😛

i mean lyra definitely needs to get lynched after that. i just don't want people upset when we do what we did on the day lupin died.

Nothing we can do about the timing of the info release in this case. But yeah we can still discuss things. My suspicion list hasn't changed except for that thing I said about DVMD obviously lol

Assuming were going with the cover role theory, do you think both Kiara and Young Kiara would have been given as cover roles?

I actually was thinking it would be more likely for them to be broken up, wolf gets to win villager trust by having a cover role that matches their role. But. My other theory about the cover roles was wrong so I could be wrong here.

Voting record had me looking at Jil too. I'm just worried because we need to be pretty perfect here.

I dunno, I could also see it where one or two characters were cordoned off and reserved for wolves to use as cover roles.

100% agreed on the voting history; I had the same thought.
 
Well this is an interesting turn of events. For reference, I was expecting to die in N7 (the night that just closed) because the Timon/Pumbaa roles were organized such that one was supposed to die 3 days after the other, but right after I posted about answers about me showing up in tonight's night results the mods messaged me and said that the night cancel apparently canceled my death too. Like not delayed it by a day, just totally canceled it I guess.

Anyway, I'm going to lynch lyra but I will be on tomorrow to offer some actual thoughts about other players. I want to hear a lot from Jil now because a huge part of why I backed off lyra initially was her insistent defense of her. That defense in addition to her voting record posted above is giving me some side eye about her and I'd like to hear more.

There is no way in hell I would have defended Lyra like that if we were both wolves. Her role just made sense to me given my role and I know I'm a villager.

this is where I was headed today anyways. This write-up would mean KC was seering lyra the night she died as she seered Lupin N1 and me N2 and it does sound like SAR and KC

WZ - as to your question about what happened the previous day, I have absolutely no idea what to make of it

Although I am curious now. I know in Telenovela we didn't give any results on the night you died. We just said you had died and KC did mention that joke in dead chat last game. So I would like some discussion about how much we think we can trust this. We haven't seen the dead involved anywhere else so I am more inclined to trust it and I was headed that way today anyways

I know I'm talking to myself here but Snowy mentioned ghost Mufasa really early on so that would in a way make 3 dead people involved in that tidbit and Telenovela the collective dead worked on responses and that is what the initial write-up seems to suggest for this game too

What about my voting record has me looking suspect to you? I agree villager numbers are dwindling and with losing 2 a night we need to be careful who we lynch.

I've played plenty of games where you still got your night results the night you died.

It's going to sound slightly counter-productive for me to say it, but negative tracking results by no means clears someone.

If you're talking about the wording differences, that could be just one mod copying the previous mod's wording to speed up night close -- it might not be significant.

I agree. I am inclined to trust it because of a couple things:

- It sounds like the people who it would be coming from
- Lyra has been a ball of sketch except for her role claim, so the info matches my reads
- I am pretty darn sure that ghost Mufasa would not be working for the bad guys. There are some characters who I think could be cover roles, but going back to the beginning of the game when I said I know how Coop feels about this movie, I can't see her going against the grain to that degree. The gif, etc also suggests to me that this was a planned mechanic that was designed to be triggered after cheat's death.

Also, re: the dead in telenovela....wolfy-me spent a lot (a lottt a lot) of time in that game trying to convince people that the dead were sketchy, when they were clearly not sketchy lol. So given that the format looks similar here, I'm inclined to believe this is good info.

With Mufasa's unwavering spirit showing them the way, the villagers circled Lyra. She split into a wide smile at their determined smiles. With a bone chilling cackle she raised her paw and sliced her own neck. Even in death she was defiant. The villager starred on, unwilling to save her. She didn't mind, she knew it was for the good of the pack.

Dead is @LyraGardenia, Shenzi, a WOLF who could attempt an extra kill on a lion every night, but if she succeeded needed to take the night off.

Based on that write-up, and the previous night's write-up, I don't think Trilt is a wolf but I also don't think she is Sarabi as she claims. That's assuming Lyra is the one who tried to kill Trilt. Lyra could attempt a kill every night and due to the night cancel, she would have been able to attempt a kill on a lion after the night cancel. If this is also the case, not sure how much I actually trust the ask-a-mod item and the answer AM got.

Once I get home, I'm going to do some re-reading especially around lynches. Feeling pretty good about WZ and VMH. Everyone else I need to evaluate after I re-read.

If she's lying about being Sarabi, that's a big red flag. Because the role names that Sarabi would be covering are sketchy. Are you doubting role name?

So I think Lyra tried to kill Trilt which to me makes me think Trilt is not a wolf. However, based on Lyra's role, I don't think Trilt is a lion because the kill didn't succeed. That would make Trilt not Sarabi. That is where my thoughts are right now just based on write-ups.
