The expectant wolves and expectant villagers were ready for major things to happen tonight. The wolves had a kill in mind. The villagers had their own plans. And yet there was something amiss, something that neither group was quite aware of.

When cheat was killed, a chain of events was set off. A chain of events that could only have occurred if done in a very particular way. But it ends up that the series of events happened exactly as they should.

To elaborate, the ghost of mufasa was infused into SummerTheLynx. A cheathac death was required for this. But this open a link with the dead, a link which the villagers had utilized last evening. But not one had thought anything of STL ending up on the roster. In fact, it seemed to go (almost) completely unnoticed.

His first thing he needed to do was get a wolf killed directly through his faction. His faction did exactly that, delivering the living a wolf in Lyra. Next, he needed to find balance, just like the circle of life. Thus, he needed to make sure there was no net decrease in wolves, with no change in the number of people in the game during the night.

He plotted with the dead through his faithful disciple and conjured upon her to be reborn.

REVIVED IS LUPIN.

And while he brought her back, he did the last thing he needed to in order to break the barrier between the living and the dead. He brought Jilary back through the cloud in the sky, the needed sacrifice.

Dead is Jilary, Young Kiara, a VILLAGER who could cancel one lynch.

Once delivered to the land beyond, everything started to blur. A large shattering sound, a spinning room, and the dead were back with the living. Except, they weren't quite the same. They were no longer willing to adhere to the circle of life. They were now the fittest, and they would rule.

One by one, the living fell at the hands of the dead, until all that was left were the dead, and their leader, STL, The Ghost of Mufasa.

Actual Write up (THE OTHER ONE WAS A JOKE)

Tonight was a darker night than most nights. It should have been a night of celebration. A night in which one of the worst killers, one of the evil hyenas, was put to rest. But things did not get better this night. No, they became much worse.

It started when Young Kiara was out with Old Kiara in some weird time lapse situation. Old Kiara wondered off for a quick second, leaving young Kiara by her lonesome. The young princess has had eyes on her since she left the festivities from the day. They were waiting for the right moment to strike, and well, there was no time better than any other. A Hyena dropped down from above, and Young Kiara snarled. She got into a fighting position.

Unfortunately, this was a distraction, as the real threat was behind her. A hyena ripped through her neck and snapped her spinal cord.

Dead is @Jilary, Young Kiara, A VILLAGER who could cancel one lynch.

But what made the day worse was the entrance of a familiar face. Not a friendly face, a very unfriendly face. And she was back with a vengeance.

Everyone (begrudgingly) welcome back Lupin.

Also, as most people were sleeping, a ghostly, yet authoritative voice was heard on the wind, saying:
"The meat has gone bad. :bigtears::drowning:
The pony must ride on."

It is now Day 9. Lynch will close at 9 pm Eastern, or whenever there is an overwhelming, unmoving majority and conversation has stalled.

Roster will be added ASAP.

The message from the dead is making it sound as if I got converted, but pippy is definitely village. I know I haven't been converted ergo it's likely the message is someone trying to cover pippy's ass and hope that we all blindly trust those messages since they netted us a wolf yesterday.

Plus, think about which dead person would be using emojis like the ones used specifically in that message

Sure - and tell me where the dead got the ostensible info about me? Dead wolves are smart enough to be mum about their cohorts in a dead chat where it's likely the dead can communicate back to the living, and the last person KC seered was lyra and we know her other seering targets weren't me. DVMD didn't track me. So where exactly do you think this information is coming from? Don't take it at face value

I agree. I manipulated all the villagers into thinking meathead was bad. I was doing naughty naughty things in there.

Haha. We did actually attack her. Thought maybe she had a kill avoidance or had protection. I obviously won't be lynching here in case she is chaos. I'm okay with a chaos win, especially in the spirit of STL.

i don't know if it's the only way to go. it's a lot better if it's 5V-3W. I have the other options thought out and usually wolves win or a non-villager wins depending on condition. and assuming that there are no ties, no extra kills and no accidentally killing a villager.

Do you mean no extra kills beyond the ome they've been getting EON or do you mean no extra kills as in "let's hope they only kill one player a night from now on"? The wolves are stacked to the gills with extra kills this game so I'm hoping you mean the former

I don't know. Maybe we need to ignore Lupes for now (in more ways than one). We don't know if she has been rezzed for good or if this could be a rez similar to Trilt's minecraft game (I think that's the right one) where Lupes could just be here for numbers for the day

Hold up -- how do you know DVMD didn't track you the night she died? If KC got results, wouldn't DVMD presumably have gotten results?

Please recall that Jil was tracked early in the game and received notification of it in her night results. Or do you not remember that from when you were tracked earlier in the game?

Oh duh. I did actually forget about that. Sorry, brain is not fully in gear yet this morning.

Although...if you were doing something sketchy and got caught, you probably wouldn't be volunteering your night results on the thread, so I'm not sure this proves anything either way.
