Lol, some people here on the list are not underdawgs...
More specifically, Getfat, LutGholein, notevenmyfinalform, and TrillyBassily shouldn't be on the underdawg list. I appreciate if these guys feel like they're going to have a hard time getting in, but this post is for those with low GPA/MCAT or bad circumstances in general.

Have an IA that will scare off a lot of schools. Definitely an underdog lol but I appreciate the vote of confidence
LOL thundercats! It's ok we like you, you can stay.Yeah, sorry about that guys. When I posted I didn't see that it was only people who were underdogs, i thought Underdawgs was just a catchy name, like Thundercats or something. I assumed that we were all just putting our stats down and then using that info to see how everyone on this forum did.
I especially feel like a jerk now for not being an underdog and throwing in that little joke about being very handsome, I'm sure we're all handsome guys and gals around here.
Feel free to remove my stats if you like

You should start it, if you do, I'll be the first to post my statsI would totally be down to making a thread where everyone could just put their stats and we could see how everyone does and cheer each other on.

I feel like you can't just take it upon yourself to do that???[/QUOTE]Why were some people removed? Are you removing those who don't meet criteria?
He mentioned he has an IA that will scare off a lot of schools. How the heck is a 3.4/3.5/28 an underdog? lol
What's an IA?
Institutional action; This is the third time my stats have been brought up.
I get it my numbers alone are competitive but trust me there is a reason I've applied to 17 DO schools.
There's a ton of reinvention applicants like me that have previous misdemeanors, school suspensions/expulsions or any red flags that believe just getting the numbers alone will make up for past mistakes.
At the end of the day I have done everything well and there is a good chance nobody could want to take a chance on me because there is hundreds of similar applicants without the risk.
I think my path (expecting 1-2 interviews realistically and maybe 1 acceptance in July 2017); will be important for other reinvention applicants like myself that are debating taking this long path.

Hahaha yup, just neurotic pre-meds...but they're welcome all the sameThere are a lottt of non-underdogs in this group haha
Removed my name from the list because I just got taken off the wait-list from last cycle. For anyone who's curious, last cycle I had a 3.08 cum and 3.0 science (combined ug and grad) (HUGE upward trend - what can I say? Freshman and sophomore year man........), MCAT: 25, URM, Biomedical Sciences Master's program. 10 schools. 3 interviews. 1 wait-list turned acceptance. I think one of the biggest things that helped me land those interviews was sending academic updates throughout the cycle (if applicable) and staying in touch with the adcoms throughout the whole process. One win for the underdawgs! Good luck this cycle everyone!
