What a party! Did I do anything weird?

ah ok this makes sense. didn't realize quarters was a self-protection item. That makes me lean towards believing STL's protection, and back to the double kill every other night theory
Once again, not sure if it was necessarily protection, that was my interpretation based on the quoted info I provided, but there are certainly other interpretations

Lynch Blitzen

For the reasons in my last post.

No beers today complicates things.

Some quick thoughts:
- Don't love Rabbit's voting history. At all.
- Allie pinging my radar a little bit based on these tallies
- Also don't see anything in Cyndia's votes that makes me feel much better about her
- I would normally give villa points for where dubz is sitting on the vote for genny on D1...but she is evil sometimes and I don't know how I feel about her votes on subsequent days
- It is somewhat notable to me that DVMD has not been particularly involved in driving any of these lynches per se, but is sitting in places where they appear (from this limited view, at least) to have gained momentum

However, I see little reason to move off of my Cyndia vote for the time being, particularly if I'm interpreting some events correctly.

@WildZoo I think the following things in general. No offense intended, after all I am just a simple drunken baby.

Pippy is spicy and accusatory, a dangerous player; sometimes sees clouds in her coffee with shaky theories, but asserts them robustly nonetheless;

LIS is prolific, using many words to say very little; smart and experienced; can lead the crowd where he wants to go; seems machiavellian at times;

Crayola sometimes gets her feelers hurt, being quiet now; digs in and tries to read the tea leaves; someone you could reach out to and not be betrayed;

WZ and LotF (and AM) are den mothers; reliable players who move the game along while cleaning other players' faces with a spit-moistened finger;

DVMD has been quiet, usually much louder; doesn't like me because I called her "crusty" in a previous game;

STL is trying to switch from mod-mode to player-mode, on the defensive so far;

Ceke is an odd duck, probably because her toilet water swirls the wrong way; tends to ramble; totally fell for my joke post about STL's hidden message;

Jilary and Tartesos are good, seasoned players, not super active ATM;

Rabbott1971 is reserved, not inclined to over-read; pretty much a smart-aleck; still learning the game, but skeptical of "imaginative" player reads;

Players I can't characterize: FernTattoo; Positive; mmm; Ski; Allie; Raf; Britzen; Kam.

Specific players who could be wolves (to me) are Paws, 3M, Allie, Raf, plus Jilary and Tartesos, plus LIS, STL, Ceke.

I think Pippy, Cray, WZ, LotF, DVMD are playing more or less normally, if a little quieter than normal. Certainly could be wrong, but we don't have tons to go by; its called lynching -- not convicting -- for a reason. Others I can't be sure, but they're not triggering me.

So that's not super helpful, but there you go.

this seems like a super strange compilation of thoughts. In here, you have included multiple people that are dead and someone who's not even playing..

earlier this game LOTF accidentally said something about her thoughts on AM, and everyone laughed because it was funny and then kind of said that it made her look a little more village because she would have known who the wolves killed if she were a wolf.

this post almost seems to me like you were trying to do the same thing, because it got people to think LOTF was more village, so maybe it would for you too. but it just comes off with a different tone to me, like it was done on purpose.

I haven't played any games with rabbott, so idk if this is a normal not paying attention thing.. but I'm curious to see what other people have to say about this.

to clarify, LOTF said something about her thoughts on AM after AM had already been killed

Interesting that you included a dead player and someone not even signed up for the game after all the discussion about how LoTf forgetting AM was dead made her seem like a villager.

I went back to the first page and got the names from there. Missed a dead one.

How in the **** have I been quiet this game?

I'm going to
lynch rabbott
because that post of reads was just too bizarre for me.

No restriction just missed you. Sorry! I would have put you in as a solid, active player, hard to read, capable of deception.

I didn't mean a restriction specifically about me, I meant about your posts in general.

I haven't played with rabbott that much (or don't remember much of their posts), and this is such a weird set of reads - is this normal behavior for them?

Was going to quote Crayola but realized everyone is tagged in her post, so am not quoting just in case that spams everyone.

Ok, just want to say that I get the paranoia thing to a degree, but personally tend to play it up a little bit for reasons that dubz called out (and for lulz). If this post is not an exaggeration, this is a little much. You have no one who you feel is acting villa? Really? Not trying to say this is woofy in origin or anything, just...woah.

That was the section called, "Ambivalent, reads like themself, village lean." WZ and LotF I didn't point out any reasons I thought they were sketch. Admittedly I am newer so my read of them is only based on 1-2 games.

I don't really trust anyone, but I did identify some people as being pretty low on my suspicion list. The list that is wolfy feels, in cahoots? was more about how I feel like those people are agreeing with each other. Which I said could be village, maybe with some wolves tossed in.

That's quite a bit of the roster in those 2 groups, actually.

@DVMDream has had lots of short, filler posts compared to the 2 previous games, where post number felt lower and individual posts seemed meatier and more full of strategy that made sense to me. I get what rabbott means there.

A lot of @rabbott1971 behavior that people are questioning feels like typical rabbott, to answer people's question. However, he feels different somehow. It's hard for me because he's felt wolfy in the past with some of this and flipped village. Given how he feels different this game, I'd feel better lynching him and putting the bad feeling in my stomach to rest. My vote isn't going here yet, because i still have others higher on my list.

I'm not sure the hidden message joke from rabbott is merely that. It is clear there are interesting posting mechanics at play, one with AM, Ceke with gifs. There are interesting PM mechanics at play with the roster changes and PM boxes allowing for discussions not reflected on the roster, and hence otherwise secret on thread.

Could there be Masons or Lovers? Could STL and rabbott have been subject to a mod mechanic where one would have to put in a "secret" code and the other would have to identify it on thread? I've read there are mechanics where a wolf has to say "werewolf" every day or other codes, or die. I've read there have been mechanics where someone has to say something and someone else has to respond a certain way. Could they be in a PM to coordinate that, that isn't reflected on the roster? Yes. Would there be reason to do all this, and then play it off as a joke?

Is this too convoluted for WW? No. Could this be crap Crayola logic? You know, I can think of at least twice now where I was dismissed, and it was crucial to game (I identified kcougli or Kam as a wolf in Mermaid, and last game that PBC and other veterans were part of a veteran wolf pack, but I couldn't get the newer villagers off Snowy).

TLDR: imho the mod posting and PM mechanics allow for something odd between STL and rabbott to be more than a joke, just keep that under your hat. I don't know what it means exactly.

I don't know how to react to that
Also that whole post was at least 5 kinds of ridiculous

Did rabbott make a post similar to that in a previous game or am I thinking of someone else?

Gotta say, having to embrace so many...unique play styles is throwing off my already faulty wolfdar.

This is why I don't go on amusement park rides.

I honestly would also not mind seeing Crayola on that list of lynch candidates for today, for the same reason. Maybe I just shouldn't click the spoilers.

So that's not super helpful, but there you go.

And as far as overall - these reads seem like utter B.S. Absolutely <nothing> specific. Just vague, generalized, not-related-to-any-specific posts, etc. Not useful, and not very villagery.

Oh whoops, yeah of course I knew that, ahem. I was testing you. Well done.

(Not to mention giving a 'read' on someone who isn't even playing. I mean, I know I've voted for someone who isn't playing, but to actually give a read on someone who isn't playing? Hmmmm.)

Kinda tempted to change my vote.

No restriction just missed you. Sorry! I would have put you in as a solid, active player, hard to read, capable of deception.

But I thought you went back to the beginning and got the list. How could you have missed Cyndia?

And why would going back to the beginning result in someone on your list who isn't playing?

Ok, so I see now I was just drudging up the same things other people noticed about Rabbott.

Why tf are there only 8 votes out of 18 people with 3 hours to go? C'mon, people.

I am highly tempted to switch to Rabbott but the current vote is 3-3 Ceke/Rabbott, and I'm also ok with Ceke being lynched. I don't want to swing to 4-2 and start a runaway bandwagon. So. Sitting on my vote for the moment.

This (the info) is so cool. I almost feel guilty for wanting to lynch you. But not quite.

I've never had absinthe. Sorta on my "I should try that some day" list, but I never remember.

So does the constant cold water infusion (plus the bit of sucrose with it) change the flavor of the drink as you progress through it??

Yes, absinthe is a very herbaceous drink. You have the three main herbs, grand absinthe, fennel, and green anise, but then you can also have other herbs like hyssop, angelica, petite wormwood, coriander, and mint (to name just a few). Because of absinthe's high alcohol content, a lot of the oils from these are sort of suspended in solution (at least this is how I understand it), and the cold water infusion allows the oils to be released along with the different flavours. Whether you add sugar or not is entirely up to personal preference, some Absinthes benefit from a bit of sugar, others you could have without. Just personally I prefer to use sugar because I have a bit of a sweet tooth, and I also feel it's more historically accurate.

There is some good, traditional style, absinthe in the US. I'm not sure if the Jade Combier range (widely considered to be the gold standard of absinthes) is available widely there yet, but most of the Absintheurs I know, including myself, shop through a site called absinthes dot com. If you're looking to try Absinthe, the best site for information on different brands (including which ones to avoid like the plague), is the wormwood society.

Here is an excellent mini doco on the history of Absinthe, and the Jade Combier distillery (this was made in 2006, so the laws in the US have since changed from what they discuss on this).

lynch rabbott

Just seems off for rabbott.

Ceke just seems so Ceke to me. I've never seen her wolf so I dunno for sure. Worse feels from rabbott.

Combining Ceke's ability (being able to put stuff in the write up leans as more of a sketch role in my mind, though I know it doesn't always have to be), combined with her posting (specifically thinking about her taking rab's post about STL being a wolf way too seriously and trying to throw shade his way with it), was really making me lean towards Ceke being chaos...

But rab giving "reads" on people not playing is strange and kinda chaos-y. Having never played with him before, I'm not sure if that kind of thing is typical for him or not.

Ultimately, I think I want the Ceke question answered first, but rab is a close second on my list and Cyndia is up there too. A couple posts from raf and ski are also making me lean potential wolf with them.
