I've been awake since 3 PM yesterday... I wish I could find out so I could get to sleep.

I'm not sure they are sending out acceptances today. I heard the 19th was going to be the next release date. Plus, i received my accceptance at 9:02am last friday, so if you havent heard you are probably not going to today.
 
aka relax and worry about finals etc. patience is a virtue...
 
Hmmmm interesting. Maybe the info I had was wrong. Either way I'm pretty sure one isn't coming my way today. Thanks for the info!
 
So how sure are we that they are accepting people today? I want to call them so bad, but I don't want to be annoying.
 
Ok nevermind. In the the amount of time it took me to write the above post and submit it, there were like 3 new posts answering my question.
 
I thought they were, and it seemed believable since the info I got for the first round was spot on. But I'm gonna guess that either I was wrong about this second round or I wasn't one of the lucky ones....
 
i just called...they told me later on this week.
 
which means nobody got anything today so everyone can chill...yeah!

Haha ya I had special interest in today since my deposit is due today at the school I'll be attending if I don't get into U of A. So I was praying to possibly save myself $1000.

I'm in the same situation as you too..I think I have up to 3 days for a complete refund though so maybe there is still a chance to get it back...probably not though. Thanks for calling nphnic!

The appeals process is not difficult. I went through the same thing when I applied a few years back. After sending them the required paperwork (again, not difficult), they granted me resident status.
 
So does anybody know if they're supposed to be sent out today? I'm at school so I can't call

You are sooo lucky! I want to get in so bad have not been able to think of anything else for a long time and now that the acceptances are rolling out it is even harder since I have not heard anything🙁 I am hopeful though!
 
Does anyone know if people will be around at Phoenix campus next week? I have an update letter, and I wanted to hand deliver it since its close.

Lol, Just watched "The Pursuit of Happyness," so I'm all trying to do whatever I can to just be seen and try to get lucky!
 
well, since it's thursday and no news on the thread yet, I guess it's safe to say the acceptance emails will go out tomorrow morning...good luck everyone!

atleast whatever happens tomorrow finals are over for everyone and we can relax this weekend regardless...good luck everybody and I really hope many of us hear some good news soon!

I told myself I was not going to get my hopes up...yeah, right. Kinda like when I told myself I was gonna cut back on coffee.
 
I know. I was working last night, and told myself I'd just go home and go to bed, and check it when I got up. Yeah right. Now I probably won't be able to sleep!
 
Has anyone heard anything? Unfortunately, I haven't. But maybe they aren't sending them out until the end of the day :xf:.
 
Hey - this is my first post to the groups, but I've been following for sometime. If it makes anyone else feel any better, I haven't heard anything yet either (Even though I've been biting my nails all night) 🙂

Ah welcome! Now you can voice your anxiety with the rest of us!😉 It does help though, the more people we have you'd HOPE we would be better informed. Perhaps we got the timing wrong or they aren't going to give any out today....

As for calling, not it...

I'm also new to this thread but have been following it. I have been reading along and have been nervous wreck too. No email for me either so far...boo. Anyone know how many acceptances they were supposed to send out this morning?
 
Well time to move on with my day. Congratulations to those who received acceptances and Merry Christmas to everyone!

They supposedly sent out 20% of 110 so ~22 if my info was correct...

Is it just me, or would it be better to have all the acceptances/waitlist positions released on a single day, rather than this 10 at a time, rolling-admissions torture?

I'm sure it makes it easier logistically for the admissions committee, but it makes the experience a bit nerve racking for everyone else.

Just my 2 cents.
 
Just called...they were released at 9am, next release "should be" 3rd week of January, and the number of releases in Jan. and Feb. will be alot larger than this month..ok so I am not going to worry for another month..
 
This is torture. None of us dedicated SDNers got an acceptance? Weird...
