Anyone know how much the oos waitlist moves normally?

I saw someone else in this thread say it moves about 15-20 seats. I have no idea if this is accurate though, as I haven't been able to find much information on it.
A parent here, been following this thread as my daughter said she was waitlisted at Virginia Maryland. Today she told me she got an email saying they aren’t taking anymore waitlist - which didn’t make sense to me and the thread which seems like they should start going down the waitlist. Does anyone know what exactly this means? No chance to get in? How would you find out what position you are on the waitlist? Was hoping for acceptance here as it would be in state tuition.
She did get into Ross / st. Kitts and university of Dublin. Looks like Dublin is substantially less expensive than Ross - any thoughts/recommendations on these two schools?

i got accepted off the waitlist about a week ago but never got a notification from my email! i did just deny my seat though in order to go to UF (if not taken off of NC waitlist) <3
As of Wednesday last week I had moved 7 spots

I was 14 OOS as of the April 1st email, and I have not heard anything if that helps. We'll see what the next few weeks look like.

I received an acceptance this morning as well. I was #14 on the OOS wait-list. I will be accepting my seat. Is there a Facebook page or something similar for the class of 2029 to inquire about resources and housing?

Yes! I just looked up on fb "VMCVM 2029" and joined!
This sort of depends which waitlist she was on.
There is an interview waitlist and then an admissions waitlist.
Since interviews were completed in january, it is not likely there would be anyone pulled from there, however the waitlists being talked about in this thread now are the admissions waitlist (those that have gone through the interviews and have been offered an alternate spot).
Additionally out of state and instate (VA and MD) have different waitlists. Hope this helps!

Was it a contract seat or an at-large seat that they offered?
I was #1 on wv contract seat alternate but was offered out of state
