Back. Probably should've left this vote on the board way earlier in the day, but I'm also gonna go with
lynch FB.

The night before he died (I think), RM also expressed similar doubts as Zen about her role (having a role-name seer in a conversion-heavy game, could get villagers killed for sketch-sounding alien roles or known animorphs could become convert targets, plus the injury effect). He wasn't able to seer her before dying because he was back in human form.

Kcough and STL agree ( my analysis in parenthesis)


· they don’t know if one of them is doing the converting (well, the converter would lie, but clearly good doesn’t know if evil is converting).

· They don’t know who the actual converts are (or if they do, they ain’t saying – either way a dead end).

· They both agree one of them is evil. (not nice enough to let us know who)

· They both agree we can’t kill evil. (well at least we don’t have to waste our time).

· They both say the god item can’t be trusted. (great, a part time truth is a big distraction).

· They both don’t think we should just ignore them completely.

· Enjoy their roles.

· Enjoy the question game.

· They both know the alignment of their counterpart.

· They both think their counterpart is a wolf.

· BUT they both think their counterpart is neutral (very confusing.. someone has to explain that to me.. a wolf who is neutral. Neutral clearly doesn’t mean what I think it means).

· They both deny being a wolf. (surprise surprise).



Difference:

· STL says he influences actions. Kcough doesn’t. (hmm. This is quite interesting. I would think evil was more active. Makes me suspicious of STL).

· STL says he knows a distinguishing characteristic of converts. Kcough doesn’t. (we need to work harder to figure that out).

· STL was given godly data to start, kcough wasn’t.

· STL has greater than normal abilities to find info, kcough doesn’t. (these last 2 together again make me suspicious of STL, or kcough is trying to make him look suspicious. Might be a good play).

· STL says animorphs can be converted. (I feel like this one is something evil would want us to believe if false, but good would want us to believe if true. Conundrum)

· STL says he is neutral only … kcough no.

edit: Kcough influences actions as well. A late edit i guess?

Skrit Na are not particularly well understood by most, and even those who do know them do not find them that beloved. Amusingly, they are one of the few aliens that humans know to have interacted with, and they're all over our popular culture. Think X-files, slender grey creatures and flying saucers... those are Na, the second form of the race after they undergo a lengthy metamorphosis. Of course, we tend to think the people abducted and tested on by Nas are crazy... but I digress.

Anyway, after much questioning and discussion, the crowd descended on the cocooned and comfy Skrit Na today, setting her homemade home on fire with their torches. Her transforming body burned quite well.

Dead is @Saki Nishibi, the Skrit Na - a villager who had not yet metamorphosed into her ability.

It is now Night 5. Night will close at 8AM EST because good lordie I'd like to sleep in a little.

So I just finished book 1, and there is all this description of how the yeerks have to leave human bodies every 3 days at that Yeerk pool thing.

I am guessing that one way to identify converted people is that something happens to them every 3 days. Maybe they are silenced, or can't vote, or have to make some comment that would betray them .... something...

Maybe I am wrong, but I can't see the mods omitting that detail that seems pretty important in the book.

So someone more attentive than I should try to pay attention to people saying stuff, or not doing stuff, or silent etc.

There has to be some catch to finding the conversions if we pay attention.

I would save that ability for someone hard to kill.
Better we have someone investigate FB, and save the kill for when it is needed.

Share the results in the main thread, you also claim Ellmist, you have info about wolves, it's NOT about the number, it IS about the (role or screen) name, it's not about conversions, it's not about mechanics, and you don't want me to spend time asking about the item you had. Is this correct?

Time is a little bit weird in this battle. All the Animorphs knew Elfangor was dead; they had heard him gruesomely devoured that fateful night they received their powers at the construction site. But when he showed up again, years later, to begin gathering them all together, nobody really questioned it. He knew everything he should have. He exuded the same quiet strength. This was Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul, for sure... and what was death to the gods?

In any case, last night there were no horrid slurping noises, just quiet and the gentle pitter-patter of a light rain. Everyone almost let themselves hope that they would find nobody dead in the morning... but that was much too optimistic. They found Elfangor's asphyxiated body laying on the ground, his soft blue fur wetly dark and covered in mud from a failed struggle.

Dead is @StartingoverVet, Elfangor - a villager who could gather the Animorphs together and chat with a person each day cycle.

It is now Day 6. Lynch closes at 9PM EST.

Actually...there is another possibility.

There is an item called the escafil device and if you use it you can turn into one of the animals it gives as choices (there were like 5 or 6 choices). It's possible that one of those animals confers the ability to block. We haven't been hearing about 2 people being blocked every day, so instead of a wolf blocker it's possible that a wolf just got lucky and had this item last night. I had the item a few days ago but forgot to use it.
