WildZoo's WWild ZZoo Part 2 - Game Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Is it just me or does that feel like a huge slip?
It doesnt seem like one to me. I would'nt weigh it in reading them.

@Khepri can you talk to me about your read on me? Because I feel like when you went over the slots I was both your most confident read AND the one who didnt bothered talking much about. One of your arguments was the mind melding/like-wise minds , but your first reads was townreading Zenge, the slot I was mostly focusing on sussing, so that its a point against the mindmelding part or that would make you waver I feel like.

Can you pinpoint to me to a post that you read and thought 'yup, this is V!Zenge' , or showed the strong logic that you vibed with?

Why AM? Pinpoint to something that made you think you were with V!AM too would be helpful.

I agree with both of your Villa Leans tho, and feel quite good about both of them rn.

Gotcha

Can you expand this train of thought? You say hours away but wasnt it like, early in the day and with a lot of the day still? Like 24+ hours isnt 'hours away' to me. But maybe I am misinterpreting your post

Yes, I have played with him in our Champs Qualifier (V!Me , W!Nook) , In Multihammer mash (Both Wolves together) , and in a Syndicate game (Both Town) .
Jay said that it isnt a good idea to look at nook games in champs as their meta, cuz there Nanook was putting an effort in playing different and with another level of effort thats not the norm iirc . And I kinda agree with it.

If you want another game to compare in where both of us have played, I think the Syndicate one its the best. Link to the game. Clem/Nanook ISO .
Its not so much more effort as more *visible* effort, since that's part of what gets you advanced

Thats also obviously not a slip lol, it says nothing about their alignment

How do I get to an iso

Its using the search function.
You need to specify 'In this thread' and put the name.

Pro tip, you also want to, once you get your results, make sure you change it from sorting by relevance to sorting by date. Otherwise it gives you a mish-mosh of posts that aren't chronologically ordered.

Someone said seven was in this game but I dont see them in the playerlist what am I missing

@Santygrass you asked me about my thoughts on Khepri. I think they are making a decent game-solving effort. I agree with the fact that they're voting for me for not trying as hard yesterday cause I wasn't. All I can say is they're voting for me for not making enough of an effort, but that's just because I'm not making enough of an effort. It's reasonable for them to view me as a wolf because of it since they haven't played with me. I'm just disappointed, I guess, cause Clem isn't making an effort either, yet the focus is on me.

I have a few things that pinged me from your approach to the game so far. You make a first post claiming that your approach to this game will be analytical instead of going off of vibes. You analytically proceed to mention Lupin's rule and pick out Zenge as the wolfiest of the first five. Then you proceed to yeet Zenge saying his posts "feel forced" and continue to double down on that. On that same post you also give town clearance for PSV and feel good about Truenamer because he feels good about PSV. So, in your world, w!Truenamer can't feel that PSV is village? He was also voting for you at that point. So... what's up with that?

So to add to that, I still disagree with your Zenge read. It feels like you're tunneling like you've made your verdict from a couple of posts, and then every reaction Zenge has is used against him to find him guilty. And I find that dangerous cause while you may think you caught a wolf, you're not second-guessing yourself.

I feel good about Genny, and that has been reinforced by her unyeeting Zenge and saying that he sounds like himself. It matches my intuition.

I was still skeptical about mkg and was waiting for her next moves. I was not completely convinced that she hadn't seen the tally when she first voted for Zenge (mostly because I was late to enter the thread, and the first thing I saw was the tally because I was tagged). But she unyeeted him so there's nothing to do but wait for her next moves.

Hold while I formulate my thoughts on the rest.

@Animal Midwife can you spell it out like you're talking to a 3 y old? True's vote came as early as your vote. Why would Nate care about it and not say someone else? True was voting Santy.

Pot/genny/true/seven/santy all town

Zenge lock cringe

Everyone else is weh

Her posts are easy to follow. I can see her thought process as an effort at game solving, even if I don’t fully agree with her Fluff push.

I mean if you want to nitpick “hours”…okay. It was ~24 hours remaining, half of which people would be asleep for. Not really sure why you want to nitpick the exact number of hours, as if it changes the question I’m trying to ask Khepri, but okay.

Its not a nitpick. 24 hours is more than half of the time of the phase, Zenge

What tipped it for you?

Okay but seriously what are YOU doing to change that?

and again and more importantly, WHY DO YOU NOT TAKE ISSUE WITH CLEM SHEEPING YOU AND PROVIDING LITERALLY NOTHING OF VALUE?

I've tried to have discussions with multiple people but your endless non sense tunnel has dominated the thread. Maybe I should just shut the F up and sheep you like clem instead of actually trying to solve the game
this feels more like frustrated villager to me.

Why would a wolf try to pocket the leading wagon when they’re hours away from getting misyeeted?

Seems like a waste of time and effort.
Like here. You are saying 'hours away' as in the yeet seems to be close and a sense of urgency and not likely to change.
But there was more than half of the D1 phase still. So its like painting it in a non very fair way imo

@Animal Midwife why did you love react this? What are you thinking?

Okay, but the “hours” conversation here is irrelevant to the question:

Why would wolf!Fluff, try to pocket the villager most likely to get yeeted?

Zenge, I already said that's NAI. She done it before.

I think you're both saying the same thing in different ways. Zenge was saying "hours away" meaning there's lots of time left, not a short time.

Okay, but the “hours” conversation here is irrelevant to the question:

Because there were still 24 hours to go and deadline culture means leading wagon with 24 hours to go isn't anything approaching a sure thing

Duh

Because its not a sure thing and day could change? Thats why I picked on the 'hours away' , because your yeet wasnt close in that scenario.
And its like, a super easy thing to do as a wolf either way imo

Feels like a classic fluff "speaks from a wolfy perspective even when villager"-ism but I'm not up to date on the thread at all. I'll give thoughts in a jiffy.
Is that something she usually does?

Zenge, I already said that's NAI. She done it before.
I’m asking Khepri to explain why they think Wolf!Fluff is trying to pocket village Zenge. I want to see Khepri’s answer, but just a few posts before, Khepri was saying they had come around on Santy’s case and believed I was a wolf.

I want to see Khepri explain why they’re then interpreting this post from Fluff as being a Wolf!Fluff trying to pocket a villager.

Furthermore Khepri didn’t play or read Marvel, so wouldn’t know about the point you’re trying to make here.

I want to see Khepri’s response, explanation and reasoning, without being tainted.

There's a chance I'm getting my wires crossed on how exactly she manages to always come across as wolfy, but yes, without checking I think she has more than one had a "perspective slip" that wasn't actually one.

Gonna have to go check some of her village games.

@justafluff, do you happen to remember some games where you were either misyeeted or nearly misyeeted?

I would like to see those perspective slips when you come across them.
