Wwar of Three WWorlds- Game Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I need to look at old games, but the mild defense of me here skeeves me out. And you know damn well I wouldn't kill Kam N1, you've wolved or modded me enough.

Other posts didn't save but I feel like you're also just not fighting like you do as a villager. I'm comfortable with my vote on you rn, and tbh it was kind of just a test vote to see your response originally, so I'm a lil surprised.

What does this even mean.

Lastly: DVMD is ringing all sorts of alarms to me. Gonna ISO and look at old game or two when I'm not stalling at a gas station to get comments in, but I very much do not like that gatekeeper vote today.
To be fair, I wouldn't have thought you would have killed Kam on night 1.

Why are you thinking so on DVMD? Because I am getting polar opposite reads as you then. They are not super strong village yet, but I am not seeing Wolfy stuff

Hold your ponies I am twenty min from home and literally said I'd explain further in post you quoted, lol. Just wanted thoughts in before close.

I'm either being too defensive or I'm not fighting enough. I'm defending you, which is sketchy, but also should have defended you harder because I know you wouldn't kill Kam? Oy.

basically. you're being moderate in multiple ways which makes me go, hmmph.

People defending or complimenting me always makes me take note. You mentioning the Kam thing without pointing out is it exceedingly, exceedingly outside my meta as a wolf to kill her made me take note. You not really getting that defensive while defending all day have made me take note. All in all, you just haven't done the things I needed to be convinced you're better alive than dead.

We'll see re: 3m lynch.

Day 2-

I will fill more story in later, but for now, you have elected AM as Gate Keeper. In this role, she will reside inside the gateway where all three meet, meaning she no longer belongs to a planet. It is her duty to collect the toll for passage, either an ability or item offered. If one has no payment for passage, they cannot pass. This position requires great sacrifice, therefor AM has given up everything she once had and will have no use for money. Her position inside the gate also means that abilities are not able to be used on her, however she is vulnerable to kill and lynch. Congratulations, AM, on your new post!

You crazy suns o guns also lynched 3m, village JOAT, who could cycle between affiliation seer, protection, and blocking.

It is now Night 2. Deadline 9AM EST. I will be handing out todays earnings in a bit to be used for tomorrow's Trading Post offerings. Also, since I forgot to remind everyone that requesting to move is a daytime activity, I will allow submissions tonight.

This is bull****. I don't make 100% reads on people without reason. The point of that post was that you seemed off to me, but your meta gave me pause. Metas aren't ****ing absolutes and you know it. You can say you would never ever ever kill Kam however much you want, but we all know that 1) a single wolf doesn't make kill decisions and 2) that would be the perfect thing to do to clear yourself. Do I think you would do it? Not really. But I'm not putting you full village column on that alone. Apparently if I had you would still be raising your eyebrows at me for defending you. So

Honestly I don't know what you want from me. You want me to scream at people? Tell them to give me something to scream at. It's hard to get all ragey when no one is really pushing me or responding when I do defend, they're just dropping votes and peacing out. I guess I could rage about that.

But realistically, do you see how you may be coming off sketch? Or are you confused by it?
Honestly no. I am 100% confused about what the **** I did to get everyone's panties in a twist about me today.

Hey look, a lil anger. 😛

Me and Kam are basically you and MJ. If you or him die N1, I do actually soft clear the other. Multiple packs or chaos kills or something are wrenches that get thrown into analysis. There are some lines that just aren't crossed. *shrug*

In any case, I don't expect that to clear me and I wouldn't have brought it up... except you did. And sorry not sorry for finding someone sketchy in a game dedicated to... finding people sketchy. lol.

You should try finding people sketchy who are actually sketchy, you're supposed to be good at it

this is so much better, lol. Now I have to decide whether you're upping the feist because you were told you weren't being feisty or if you're actually getting frustrated, though. 😛

Quite the conundrum, how much do you trust your ability to read me? 😛

I have my own reasons for wanting to go for Dubz more tomorrow now. My saltiness will be explained in the morning.

hey @DVMDream, when was the last couple full games you were a wolf? Speed game and basics #1 are the ones I've found so far.
The last one I remember was that one where DVMD and I fought about the whole noob vs vet thing being used to clear people and I kept saying that the whole fight was just a distraction and I was sure she was a wolf. I died shortly after and DVMD made it to the end. I remember nothing else about that game.

Just that I was sooooo mad when someone said at the end that nobody suspected DVMD. So I guess you can somehow search based on me calling DVMD a wolf and her complaining about noobs.

I'm not still salty or anything... lol.

Ok, so I wish 3m had said something other than "this is a bad lynch."

But the results mean I am going to be looking at the Descartes players who fled to Hatari.

That isn't even the worst I've done as a wolf. Lol. Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂

I know some people have mentioned that, and I even used my reasoning behind voting to lynch 3m because she DIDN'T move, but I'm still a little lost in terms of the logic behind this. Would you mind explaining why it looks suspicious? Again, still learning to play, and the movement makes it a lot more confusing.

Well, in this case, LotF is the only one from Descartes who left and didn't go to Hatari. She's not going to look into herself.

So the plan last night was to group people into Hatari and weed them out from there one we had cleared another planet to put them on. If a wolf got trapped on an island with just a few players, they would (hopefully) need to kill where they are located, so this would expose a wolf hidden among a very few.

Since the plan was announced on thread, the wolves wouldn't like to get caught among the few, so they would move to where all the other people are going to buy time hidden among a lot more people.

The flaw in this case is that the wolf who did the kill was probably on Descartes and with numbers reduced, it limits the possible wolves to the survivers from Descartes; me, WZ, DVMD, and you, sheltermed

And I don't need to ask me, I already convinced myself I am innocent 🙂

How much convincing did it take though? 😉

I'm gonna be honest, my vote is going your way tomorrow barring major breakthroughs overnight. My gut doesn't like it, but it's what makes sense. If you truly are village I'm almost positive kills don't work the way we think they do.

Holy farking hell guys.... I thought quoting it and highlighting in blue was enough but gorram lupin ****ing stated that players can act on those on the planet they are on, on the planet they are moving to or on those they think will end up where they are at.

Am I the only person who actually read the write up?

Which means someone on Descartes could have done the kill, someone on Hatari could have or someone who moved to Hatari hoping that the person they acted on would also be moving there.

Completely agreed it's possible. But it's risky for the wolves to hedge two kills (if both came from wolves) on people moving. Thus, people are jumping to likely one wolf from the Descartes crowd. Also, those rules were not clarified until after night 1, which would have put village at a disadvantage if the wolves were aware of this rule and the villagers weren't.

I still think it was allowed night 1.... sounds like the idea came from a player based on the way lupin worded it and that she decided she liked the idea.

Also, really not that big of a risk considering you had suggested everyone to move to hatari on thread.

I guess I did assume that Lupin clarified because she was asked that night. Which means a wolf likely asked. Did Kam or SAR say they were moving? If so, we have enough proof to think their killer laid in wait for them rather than came from Descartes. Or at least to think it is a bigger possibility than I had thought of.

I had planned on saying "back at you," but the last few minutes has me thinking I have a few more options to consider.

Both of these are why I was confused. I actually HAD read the write up and thought I understood it, but then mostly everyone else's logic was contradicting what it had said. I get it now.

Yeah, you're right. Not a single other person read the write-up, especially after it was highlighted out. There definitely wasn't any discussion about the write-up last night and obviously you need to be a bitch to make us pay attention.

Or, maybe just maybe, people did read things, did consider them, and thinks it is less likely that wolves chanced kills on "maybes" and think the way we approached the lynch was pretty damn OK, especially for D1.

I'm also a little iffy on whether lupin would allow the wolves to perform a kill that way without the information being distributed to the whole playing field first. Aka, would Lupes let the wolves do their action via rules nobody else knew?

Maybe, as a reward for thinking and being willing to ask... but again, not something I'd put much moolah on. If I were happier with Dubz' responses maybe I'd entertain more.

3 m's comments haven't made me feel better about her (she is descending a bit), but I want to see what the path of *****unlynxh Dubz, lynch LoTF******** leads
How do you feel about the lotf vote now, btw? I'm pretty okay with her following defense.

DVMD is being more involved, more joking, and making some excuses for when she won't be on thread. These are things she did recently as a speed wolf and as one in the Basics game. Usually as a villager she just ghosts until she has the time.

I'm not convinced, but it was enough to catch my eye. I don't take arguing with STL as any indicator of affiliation, lol - that's just a reasonable thing to do. 😉

Lynching can mean many things to many people. It really relies on context and the mob at hand. For example, a certain professor speaking out about the great white privilege credit card was "lynched" recently in a public forum as it relates to her employment. In the past, lynching was way more disgusting and the rationale was far more disgusting (concerning civil rights and the like). Nowadays and here, however, it means you are eliminated from a game. It's of no consequence at all, really; unless you are a sneering canine.

I honestly didn't think about it that way. I guess I figured if Kam or SAR had been in the process of moving and were killed at some point during that process, we would have been given some indication of it?

But also neither of them said that they were intending to move. They weren't around for the discussion at all. So not sure it would have made sense for wolves to take that chance.
