That's why I just murder people when they break the rules 😉

Tp killed me for liking her vote tally post (there was a sweet gif in it) when I was silenced in the Saints Row game. I figure that's the upper limit of how harsh I can be. Anything less than that is fair gameTHAT'S modding.
Rules were broken and @WildZoo said post restriction for punishmentTypical novice mod - let's use a club that takes away any incentive to play....
Post restrictions were kinda cute and funny when they were invented. Now they're just ... yawn. Overused. Kinda dumb. If you want to give your players incentive to just peace out on the game, use a post restriction.
‘Twas your idea subs for post restrictingThat's why I just murder people when they break the rules 😉
I was implying after that game lol‘Twas your idea subs for post restricting
I for one enjoy not being killedI was implying after that game lol
I suppose we could have killed them but killing 3 people might be excessive![]()
Eh you were dead soon enough*I* started the loophole. Goons.
Ha. Hell no. And there's nothing wrong with RM trying out some mechanic flexing - gotta try it to see how it works, right?
None of my feedback is meant to be insulting or negative. It's just ... hey, given the chance the monday morning quarterback, here's maybe how it could have worked better.
****, for those of you who are pre-vets or vet students, you'd better get used to monday morning quarterbacking your cases, because whether you do formal M&M rounds or not, looking backwards and saying "well hell, guess I should have done X" is part of professional life.
I think it really depends on the post restriction and the player. Some players love them and do really well with them (I personally do enjoy them to some extent), other players find that they hinder their ability to post strategy, make them want to post less on thread, break up their thought process, and/or open them up to mod punishment when they forget to include them in a post so they have to be edited back in. I think you have to be careful to give post restrictions to players who either enjoy them (and thus will make it fun/entertaining on thread for everyone reading them) or make the outcome of the post restriction really really worth it.Dude, I don't want to hear anyone whine about peaceing out, cuz post restriction. Dude, guess that just tests your commitment to the game. Dude, WW is like life. You don't just bail cuz it gets hard, dude.
And dude, posting restrictions are the sort of thing that sucks for the punished, as it should, while typically entertaining the rest of us.
Or just the mod dudes. There is no higher purpose, dude.
Nothing I've said is meant as an attack on RM at all. I hope he continues modding and improving. I enjoy playing with him as a mod 😀 I figured you had taken more of a way back seat so this was probably his first game where he was really running things, yes? Every game is a learning experience, I think getting feedback from players is incredibly valuable. I certainly don't hate either of you 😛
And like LIS said, it was still fun!
Oh, I meant my statement as a statement. I know he appreciates the feedback and I love new mechanics. The best way to learn from them is try them out 🙂 I told him to blame me for everything 😉Ha. Hell no. And there's nothing wrong with RM trying out some mechanic flexing - gotta try it to see how it works, right?

If I tried hard and believed in myself....And DubZ, could you hate me if you tried? I don’t want you *to try* but, I thought we were....not capable of that!!???
😍If I tried hard and believed in myself....
Nope. Still couldn't do it. 😉
