I think so? I never know. I think they’re too small though, because I got some running shoes a few months ago and they measured me and I got a bigger size than these. But I feel like companies never match up equally. Like a 12 Nike is not going to fit the same as a 12 New Balance. Sometimes my big toes feel squished so maybe they are a little small.

those are 2 separate points. they're not mutually exclusive. April does die early a lot and I sympathize as a fellow early dier. However, the reasons why do matter somewhat to deciding if she is a good yeet vote today.

Can’t decide if this is MKG sincerely reading that vote as a serious yeet attempt rather than just a pressure vote and offering villagery help, or deliberately pretending to interpret it that way to appear helpful and throw subtle shade

Ok genuine question - how do y’all define shade. Cause I see shading as throwing sus on someone vaguely, like in passing with little explanation and not acting on your suspicion. I didn’t like the pressure vote on a d1 inactive player. I voted to back up this opinion. Like I’ll be the first to admit my reads can be wishy washy and come across as shading but I don’t get it here.

Well, dash the “subtle” shade part of my prev post. Not sure if this makes me lean toward thinking MKG is sincere or manufacturing shade. Maybe leaning towards the latter, since shorty often pressure votes lowposters and I feel like mkg knows that, and that she had shade thrown at her as a villager for it in England

Again I’m just confused about the use of the term shade. And this isn’t a low poster situation. By all means, if someone is skating by on the minimum posts, contributing no original thoughts to the thread, or lurking, pressure vote them. But D1, I fail to see how pressure voting someone who hasn’t checked in yet is going to actually do anything useful except set up a misyeet.

So instead we should hold our votes until everyone shows up? Or vote for people who have posted and not pinged us? I don't get it. People vote in the first few minutes of the thread opening when no one is here yet.

Ok so here is how I mentally think of votes: salt/joke votes are not serious, those page 1 votes, unless stated otherwise are not serious votes. It’s fluff or related to a previous game, and typically get removed or swapped pretty quickly. A pressure vote for someone who has not been on thread, your reading sus, and is a serious vote. Like unless that person comes on and gives satisfactory posts, that vote is more likely to stay there. So it was weird vote to make in that situation, when we know Samac is a reliable poster and likely to be on soon. It gives the guise of contributing to wolf hunting when it really isn’t. And I’m not saying you need to wait for everyone to be on, but like there were 5 pages and things were picking up a bit, did nothing to that point actually ping you?

How is that any different from what happens with any vote on the board in a short cycle? Like, the same can happen with joke and salt votes. Which are also moveable. Just like any vote.

I'm not scum reading you for it but I really feel like you're making this into a bigger deal than it is. Not being on thread at the same time does not mean you can't evaluate someone's posts when you come back.

I mean I didn’t expect this to take up 5 more pages but here we are. It felt odd to me and I acted on that suspicion.

She's striking me as wolfy. Not all the sus she's throwing... That's NAI. Her tone sounds very similar as wolf versus village. But she's not picked up on a single one of the jokes that she's tried to comment on as being serious and that's a huge tell for her. I correctly read her village D1 in the last game because of a single joke she made.

I routinely wolf read zenge and this is well known to the core of SDN WW players. I did last game too but tried to correct my meter on him so I gave him leeway. Then he was in fact mafia.

So basically, Zenge is a policy yeet to you because you can't tell the difference between his village vs wolf meta, so you won't ever know until he flips.
