I believe they still plan on having classes in person based on the last email they sent out to us. But they are moving around some events to later on in the year like the White Coat Ceremony. They did say though that orientation might be virtual if things are not safe. So I'm guessing everything is still up in the air.

You can email them and ask what your ranking is on the list. They usually say they have no way of knowing how long the decision will take but most people have a good chance of being accepted from the list and they pull all the way until classes begin.

I just asked Dr. Weir today. Basically, I'm doing a one year master's of science at Johns Hopkins to better prepare myself for medical school and asked him if I could know where I was on the list. I'm planning to move to Baltimore soon otherwise.

Did you try looking at the dorms they offer? They reserve a couple dorms just for medical students. I was initially looking at apartments but then I saw how cheap the dorms were so I went with that option. I got a private room, a private bathroom, and two closets all for a little over a $1,000 per semester. So if you are in a rush, try to look into that!
