hey everyone! does anyone know if rush interviews just through march, or through april also?
some people have been getting the email that the interview season has concluded at rush so i think they have given out most of their invites. i'm sorry
i think they just do random emails. they never send it out in bulkhmmm i wonder why only some of us have gotten that email and others havent...
oh well, i'll be expecting mine any day now.
yeah i know, i like here too hehechicago is a great city for biking. i bike to/from work every day and to wherever i go in my free time. chicago is flat and there are plenty of bike lanes/other bikers.
That's awesome, alskemas Too bad my memory isn't better so maybe if you gave me a description I could remember you. Are you in-state or out-of-state? And are you for sure you're going to Rush?
Well, congrats once again
Two days ago I asked Rush for a status update on my application and this was the email response I received:
Thank you for applying to Rush Medical College. We have just finished our screening process for interview selection this year. The best of luck to you with your medical aspirations.
Is this the "rejection" email that everyone is referring to?
Interviewed on March 4th; Accepted March 31st.
Definitely attending Rush in the fall.
Can't wait to meet the rest of the class!
We regret to inform you Rush Medical College is unable to offer an interview invitation to you. This year we received a large number of completed applications at your strong academic level. The academic credentials of this applicant pool-along with the array of community service, inspiring health care experience, and involvement in diverse activities-were very impressive.
Should your path find you reapplying to medical school, please visit our supplemental application website at https://www.rushsupp.com to review a sample of our supplemental application. The section addressed to previous applicants will give you an opportunity to showcase how you have enhanced your application, including academic pursuits, research opportunities, health care/patient contact experiences, and other enrichment endeavors. Rush Medical College values your non-academic accomplishments, experiences, and your exposure to the health care field.
On behalf of the Committee of Admissions, I would like to thank you for your interest in Rush Medical College and wish you the best in the future.

Here's the e-mail I got just 23 minutes ago...
So I guess I'm supposed to assume that I'm rejected? They just said I won't have an interview but didn't flat out say I'm not accepted... I'll call tomorrow I guess and see if I can get some clarification.
