Interesting that there's nothing outside of the NY Metro area. Nothing in Ithaca, NY, but it takes time to route things through Syracuse. I'll be sweating it tomorrow, but not worried today.

Please join the facebook group as we'll be sending updates about Revisit Weekend (but will send lots of info through the mail). And if you have any questions, I'm the Admissions Representative for our class and I'll be happy to answer your questions (or at least point you in the right direction).

Same for me in northern Jersey. However, someone from Texas on MDApplicants was accepted today. He could've had a preferred address in the tri-state area, but maybe he didn't. Maybe the letters really were shipped in batches as stated in a previous post.

I'm going to start wearing my three wolf moon shirt. I advise you to do the same.

Well, if it helps, the Bassett acceptances (which came from the main Columbia P&S Admissions Office) were sent to the preferred addresses.

They may have been MD/PhD and accepted a little earlier. For example, my friend was accepted to Duke last month as a MD/PhD even though Duke wont tell all of us anything until next week.

Opp. Yes. The TX person was MD/PhD. But updated their app yesterday...so I assume the letters will still sent at the same time? And the Cali person went to "an ivy" so I assume maybe someplace close.

so, is there anyway that they sent out acceptances in batches on different days and not just waitlist/rejections? i'm in NJ and got nothing in the mail today...which i assume means i'll be getting a small letter with a not-so-welcome decision shortly, but wondering if i should hold out any hope. mmmcdowe, do you know?

I can't imagine that all acceptances were mailed together on Tuesday. If that were the case, I would think that more people on here that were accepted.

Yeah, it's weird though. Even regular snail mail only takes 2 days from my apartment in Philly to NYC (my landlord lives in Manhattan). I sent her my rent check on Monday and it was cashed/processed yesterday. I can't imagine it should take longer than my rent check.

Yeah, mail from NYC normally takes two days to get to NJ (Priority Mail or not), so I am convinced that admissions decisions went out in batches. Today or tomorrow will be the day.

Either way, there will be lots of drinking.

I'm from toronto too. Got a fedex today, no one was home. But I checked the tracking number and it's from Bronx, NY. So I'm fairly certain it's an acceptance. Going to the fedex office after work to pick it up.

No I live in Toronto permanently (went to high school there). I'm only in London b/c I go to UWO for undergrad. I can't even get an interview at Western b/c of the Verbal 11 cutoff. I've got U of T and Mac interviews this month too. Best of luck on ur interview.
