Oh, and no rank unfortunately . . .
No idea. It seems like they would, but I don't know. Just out of curiosity, Happyglucky, does your last name begin with A-G?
Hmmm, any bets on when the Tucson WL will be released?
I was asking about last names to try to figure out if they sent out the WL in the order of last names, or in the order of the waitlist ranks, or what. Seems like it was probably last names.
Hey, I did predict #52 on Tucson's waitlist and a Phoenix rejection.
I am still waiting for the rejection letter...it's like it's the morning of my execution and I'm waiting for the warden to finish breakfast or something...just flip the switch already!
Yeah, I'm right there with you! I hope they don't wait until the end of the day again.
I just wanted to clarify, that was 1:35 today - as in Friday?
No, but I haven't been rejected yet either. Maybe they've pegged me for a backfill slot and I'll just skip the waitlist.
I grew up a Cubs fan before the DBacks came to town, so I'm always overly optimistic this time of year. :crossfingers:
I grew up a cubs fan in Chicago, "This is gonna be their year!" if I had a dime for every time I heard that
Did anyone end up calling Tucson to ask if they have any idea when they're gonna be releasing their list? (Or, if by chance they already have?)
Sweet. Thanks a lot man!
Can I ask a question that is not DIRECTLY related to these releases? Seeing the previous poster's picture made me think of this.
Why is everyone so bent on anonymity and secrecy on these forums, and on MDApplicants? It seems to be a common thing among us pre-meds. For instance, it is very very rare that anyone ever says their GPA or MCAT score. Most of the time I hear "pretty good" or "above average" or something.
I mean, most everyone has a facebook profile now. That has pictures of you, your name, what you're interested in, and frequently other ways to contact you. So, it can't just be about not posting your identity on the internet.
I guess I just don't understand why we hide so much information from each other. Seems counterproductive kind of, especially when we are trying to figure out the enigma that is the admissions process.
Well, I will be the first (and we'll see if I am the only one) to intentionally break my anonymity. I have not said anything (and don't intend on saying anything) on here that I wouldn't say in person.
I'm Erik Handberg! I am a senior at ASU, and some of you may know me as the TA for Animal Physiology. And, if I know you, please feel free to say hi! We're all in this together, right?
Haha! ML. I just got an actual LOL out of that picture. Now THAT is a good dad.
