I thought they dont call. Above posts said that its a status update regardless of accept/wait/reject...???

oh they do call sometimes i know that for sure, however idk what they are doing now...who knows im just paranoid and desperate for my number one choice school lol. I just chcked my status and nothing...i think this is the 1st time i feel like the crazy premeds i always see here 😛
 
Today is an interview day, so as you guys know, Dr. Peterson and the admissions office is gonna be busy. Hopefully they find some time to make calls during financial aid, or housing presentations lol.

In light of this new info, I doubt we are gonna hear today. Maybe tomorrow.
 
would anyone like to call and see whats up? i feel weird calling again.
 
oh my god, please let us know UCI. Although, I agree it is less likely for us to know today since they are interviewing. Plus, it must take awhile for 1 person to call all the people who are accepted. Still, I want to know ASAP! Good luck to everyone!
 
I think I might call round 3:00, when most faculty interviews are over. I really hope we find out today. My interview tomorrow would be SO much more relaxed if I have good news from a UC.
 
If they say they are going to let us know today, I'm sure they will unless something comes up.

true. If i get in here i could cancel all my interviews elsewhere and withdraw from every schoo but ucil, it would be a dream🙁...i dont want to go to some of my upcoming interviews lol.
 
Don't get your hopes up too high comrades, I called earlier about something else and casually inquired about when we would hear back and it seems they are still unsure. Maybe I didn't talk to the right person...I guess we will see with time

doubt anything will happen today since the office is open for like 1 more hr...though i have heard of calls going out at like 7pm lol. I guess the late oct early nov date is going to be right after all...now i have to get ready for a cross country flight🙁.
 
I interviewed today. Amaaaaazing school. I would love love love to go here. I hope they liked me. 🙂

Irvine's like that guy who says he's going to call, and even when he doesn't call when he promised he would, you still kinda like him anyway. :corny:

no idea. well find out by 5pm PST? lol I think at this point its best just to assume the end of oct early nov timeline...at least i am for my own sanity...waiting for youre top choice everyday is making me crazy.
 
I don't see why they would tell ilovebear Monday if they were gonna wait until late October. That makes no sense. Since they told him to call if he hadn't heard by Monday, that's what he should do.
 
its today, if u got on the alternate list, u should be able to see it
 
sigh alternate list....its listed on the application site check..........man i must suck or something 2 straight waitlists...getting really worried at this point that theres something wrong...
 
what other place did u get waitlisted at, i got into ohio state, but i want to stay in california so bad, i guess i will have to wait to hear back from ucla now

do it calbear, I called about something else and then asked at the end and they said that the person who should answer my first question could answer my second and that I should call that person tomorrow... maybe they will tell you today if you just ask straight out
 
Mine is blank, too. They probably haven't gotten to us yet.

I would call but every time I call, the lady immediately forwards me to Gayle's voicemail even if I have a general question that does not affect my file. I am not the best person to call.

I called. I told her I interviewed on 9/23 and was interested in when we would find out. She took my AMCAS number and looked up my file. She said,"Hmmm I see that you interviewed on 9/23. (pause). I would say that your decision is still pending. Stay positive. "

WTF lol

Edit: sorry I was trying to do this from my phone and messed up. Lol
