Their website states that 270 acceptances were granted for the class of 2012 (entrance in 2008). Not by the end of March, but total. Not that I doubt what Dr. Wagoner told you, but I think a lot of people are misinterpreting what was said.
So, I don't think that many acceptances are going out at the end of March. I suspect a handful are, but not 115. But, the waitlist has movement, so all hope is not lost.
At the Alternate 2 meeting last year, which was in April, Dr. Wagoner said 270 acceptances were initially sent out. Meaning, they had all been sent out by the end of March. This year she told us essentially the same number, i.e. 268, will be sent out by the end of March. 155 of those spots have already been offered. The initial offer is high because many of the students offered acceptance will ultimately go somewhere else, especially non-residents. Come August, more than 268 offers of acceptance will ultimately have been sent out as students are accepted from the alternate list.
Regardless of what the exact numbers are, it's out of our hands at this point. The fact is there are many spots still available, including the alternate list.
